When he became the acting White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney was more familiar with the medias critical portrayal of President Trump the family man than the first dad himself.
That changed on one of his first trips with Trump, and it was another eye-opening case of how the media was dead wrong.
The first trip I went with him," he said at the Conservative Political Action Conference, I bet he called his son [Barron] three times, four times on the trip.
He added, People forget that Barrons only 13 years old. We dont think that about him because the kids a giant, like 6-foot-4, 6-foot-5.
Mulvaney, who has since become the envoy to Northern Ireland, explained: The president is just a really caring father, and you dont see that. The press would never show you that because it doesnt fit that image of him, that the press wants him to be a terrible monster. But he feels about his children the same way everybody else does.

Why would someone write an article with that leading title? --- 'Terrible monster' or caring father?: Mulvaney tells on Trump?
Does that not sound like Mulvaney is going to dump on President Trump?
What underhanded purpose did that title serve?
It made me read it because dirt attracts more than honesty in the title.
That’s all I think it is.
Great to read he’s a good father.
But even if the press acknowledged it they would say Al Capone was a good father to his son also.
#### em.
Just selling a story, nothing new.
The media has completely degenerated itself, and it
will never be the same.
I hate to think about what’s going on in
schools of journalism at this time.
Good grief, more so-called dirt?
It served exactly the purpose you think it did.
The people who work for the media today are incredibly propagandists.
In other words, their just downright evil.

"schools of journalism" --- lol, sort of an oxymoron these days.
“I hate to think about whats going on in schools of journalism at this time”,
In my ‘60s university, with a high quotient of New Yorkers, it was full-on homosexuality.
It shows in the quality of his children.
If you look at Trump over the years, Trump is still The Donald but it seems that Melania has had a huge influence on him, mostly for the better
Yep. Terrible headline. I had the same thought as you.
When you part ways with this President there’s always the possibility of a gig at MSLSD.
In the Roman Empire this was referred to as a Clickus Baitus Headlineus.
Way too many Journos engage in it.
Headlines aren’t about relaying facts, they are about capturing attention.
Mick’s got triplets and he went to all their school functions, as did his wife. They were very supportive parents. I know because I saw it firsthand.
Byline: Bigus Dickus
someone else wrote the headline to smear Trump..
lying news is a piece of work.. journalistic...
.?? And how does that relate ?
__________
... that makes sense.
Crazy title for sure and from an outlet generally favorable to President Trump with reporters like Byron York and Charles Hurt.
Basically a bait and switch headline grabber.
What dirt? Mulvaney said he's a great dad.
The Trump kids are fiercely loyal tot their father and happy. He did something right.
