If I were a Democrat, this would alarm me. Biden’s behavior here is extraordinary, especially given that he is currently previewing the “return to normalcy” theme that he intends to run on in November. One might think that telling a voter that he is “full of s***” and that you will “slap them” matters less than it usually would given that Donald Trump is in the White House. But, arguably, the opposite is true. Elections are about contrasts. If he is as belligerent and ill-disciplined as the incumbent, what is Biden’s case for replacing him?

Trump is not “belligerent and ill-disciplined”, particularly ill-disciplined. He fights back when attacked and he does it in a disciplined manner. Yes, that is new for a Republican to do, but it is a hell of a lot better than being a pussy like most other Republicans. He knows how to tweak the media and Rats. He does it intentionally and with thought. But he doesn’t attack potential voters. That is the domain of Democrats as they call us deplorables, bible-thumping, gun-toting, Nazis, xenophobes, homophobes, racists ... and so on, you know the drill.

I’m trying to figure out why the Democrats — for the second election in a row — are nominating a candidate who provides all he necessary material for six months worth of Trump campaign ads.
