Thats it. I have heard it all!
As a southern person, I say the word yall all the time. It is a conjunction of the words you and all. I use it for everyone. It doesnt matter if youre male, female, old, young, white, black .In no way, shape, or form is the word racist. That is, unless youre a liberal I guess.
I came across an article calling for the word yall to be banned because thy fee the word is racist.
NPC Daily writer Neville Croft wrote, [A] new hate word is increasingly being used by the alt-right. The word yall is the most recent addition to their ammunition of hate and has already sent many unsuspecting persyns of unidentified gender identities into horrific seizures and panic attacks.
The snowflake continued, Yall is a southern hate word that evokes all sorts of gruelling, racist connotations. Just thinking about it makes me feel nauseous.Journalists in particular have faced an onslaught of harassment by bigots using this word..."

Long live Y'all.
Oh for crying out loud.
(mindless)
I’ve lost track... Are African-Americans allowed to be cotton farmers?
Blacks say yall all the time ... are they racist?
Bless their little hearts.
I’m in favor of banning non-Southerners from using “y’all”. It’s plural, despite the best efforts of Hollywood writers over the last 50+ years. “Y’all” is plural. If it’s a larger group, it’s “all y’all”. This is not complicated.
Racist? Okay, yeah, whatever, so what?
Reminds me of the time Perot addressed a group of people saying you people.
Soon to be followed by the more inclusive, yet sadly still racist All y’all(sarc)
Even the Babylon Bee couldn’t have thought this one up.
Y”all can just go F yourselves.
All y'all is the plural ...
We’ll have to switch to the Pittsburghese version, “yinz”.
F ya’ll - The South
I’m a New England Yankee and I don’t say y’all.
But it’s stuff like this that makes me want to carry a stick and just hit people when they push idiocy like this. Seriously. You can’t live in any sort of community with people who are this controlling and nasty.
Looking around I think the person who wrote this fell for a parody/fake:
https://twitter.com/croft_neville
“Neville Croft
Neville Percival Croft is a brave, bold and daring reporter for NPC Daily after being laid off from BuzzFeed because of xirs apparently “overtly communist views”. Nonetheless, Neville is a unique, freethinking individual that brings lots of cards to the table such as xirs ability to smash the patriarchy in less than 10 minutes and xirs prestigious Gender Studies degree helps xir to critically analyse and report in a completely unbiased fashion. Also, xe is a proud Greysexual Novigender and has a moderate soy latte addiction. Please never assume xirs gender. This entire site is satire.”
Here's their about page: About NPC Daily
"NPC Daily is a satire site, providing political and cultural commentary with wanton sarcasm. NPC Daily pokes fun of modern journalism and liberalism. If you believe one of our articles is real, its because the content is not too far adrift from what is published by mainstream news outlets. But, alas, our content is totally fictitious and is created to elicit laughs and bemusement."
This reminds me of all the idiot journalists and bloggers who fell for the 4chan troll meme that the OK sign was a secret racist symbol
It always makes me smile to use the plural of Y’all...All Y’all.
There seems to be a special class of liberal idiot that loves nothing more than to look for some custom that exists out in non-liberal lalaland and deem it racist or a sign of “white supremacy.” So now, we have the phrase “y’all” joining the “Okay” symbol and bowl haircuts as signs of white supremacy.
This would be laughable if not for a manipulative propagandizing media and the useful idiots so desperate to find meaning in their empty lives that they will latch on to anything that gives them the illusion of mattering.
Personally, I use the term “y’all” because it is less sexist than the equivalent term I grew up with in California, “you guys.”
