People who have underlying health conditions such as heart disease, kidney disease, or diabetesparticularly those who are elderlyshould be cautious .....It is a good time for any American who is elderly, by however they define it, and has a serious underlying health condition to think carefully about travel,...
If youre a person who is in that category: think twice, even before you get on a plane for a long trip, or you want to travel, or you want to go to a place thats crowded where there may be people who are in fact, have an infection of any sortthat doesnt necessarily have to be even coronavirus, it could be influenza or anything like that,

I define elderly by an urge to check my pulse first thing in the morning.
Too bad sheltering in place will not make Bolshevik Bernie and his ilk go away.
What?
Just found this for NC residents: (may or may not be helpful)
Got questions? North Carolina Poison Control has established a hotline, available 24/7 and staffed by nurses and pharmacists to answer questions about coronavirus, including symptoms, how to assess and reduce the risk of catching the virus and what to do if if coronavirus is suspected. Call 1-866-462-3821.
If anybody travels out of the US, they should be told they might not be able to return for at least several months - if ever (in case they die overseas).
Nobody in or out, except for emergencies, for at least a month.
Elderly/useless eaters report to your nearest facility. Harboring septuagenarians/octogenarians will henceforth be considered a felony.
Here oldster, take this GOV mint. Our docs said it is good for you.

“I define elderly by an urge to check my pulse first thing in the morning....”
Or having a decent BM!

Maybe we can put a dagger in the heart of this open borders cr@p
and Georges Soros and Nancy Pelosi can reap the benefits of this
ridiculous policy.
Lol
Nah I’ve been doing that after a night of drinking since I was 30 :)
I had the opposite effect one night after mixing a lot of different drinks.
insanely fast palpitations followed by what felt like my heart stopping for a few seconds and then palpitations again and it went on all night. I was just thinking well either I’ll wake up or I wont. Obviously I woke up :-)
If you have to ask that question, you're definitely not elderly. :-)
So now age is like gender, we can just define it however we want?
Cool!
“Maybe we can put a dagger in the heart of this open borders cr@p and Georges Soros and Nancy Pelosi can reap the benefits of this ridiculous policy.”

I refer to it as “no borders” instead of “open borders” since that’s what they are actually promoting.
“I define elderly by an urge to check my pulse first thing in the morning.”
At 81, if I wake up, I don’t need to check my pulse, everything is probably still working.
I don't even have to think once about that one.

LOL!! You stay well, Grampa Dave!
Been there, and know the feeling well :)
