Thanks. I need to run these by my daughter. She’s an editor for a publisher and an absolute grammar tyrant.

The restaurant chain should ask it’s leaders how it was possible for them to select and promote a person lacking even a modicum of common sense.

“Question is, does this make me as bad as them?”

No. It means you’re smart.

See my tag line.

Younger people go to the kiosk for a number of reasons - sometimes it’s to check in on the order they placed via their apps, sometimes it’s because it’s just plain faster, sometimes to avoid the old people tying up the lines, sometimes to make sure that the order is correct (too many not-really-English-speakers manning the counter at McD’s these days). Old people generally want to pay with cash (which McDonalds’ kiosks don’t yet accept) and fear the kiosks or want social interaction or something. (Not all of them, I have friends and clients well into their 70s and later and most of them do just fine with a kiosk.)

We just had a similarly related thread about self-checkouts, you may find it amusing: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3820813/posts

As for the low-IQ people, we do have jobs for them. We just have to evict the illegal aliens from them.

“Are these people really that stupid?”

Yes. I expect that Mommy and Daddy let them get away with any little temper tantrum for their entire childhoods. “Acting out” in the real world has consequences. Who knew?

>>>Which is why I never advertise my politics in a restaurant.<<<

Yes, but if you think about it, the mere fact that you took a shower today is a dead giveaway if you are in a restaurant full of Bernie bots.

Read the article. The chain may have fired the manager, but they weasel worded their response and try to claim they temporarily closed due to overcrowding. No mention of the barring of Trump supporters.

I’ll be sure to never set foot in one of their places.

Name was inspired by Bill Bojangles Robinson, as well as the Jerry Jeff Walker song Mr. Bojangles. The restaurant claiming a “black” audience for their chicken— which has it’s own recipes, not particularly credited to anyone, black or white. But they are southern fried chicken flavourings.

These restaurants are missing a major point. Southerners like their chicken... and the really like Mr. Trump.

What y’all who don’t live in Charlotte don’t realize is that the Trump rally was held at the Bojangles Colosseum. This is terrible publicity for the company. This is a Southern restaurant chain and most Southerners are staunchly pro Trump.

Reminds me of when the Einsteins running Gillette--whose customers are mostly men--launched a crusade against "toxic masculinity," a move which cost the company millions of customers including myself.

Monumentally stupid. Charlotte is pretty much a NASCAR hub of activity & employees. ALL the NASCAR people I know are Trump supporters.
