British ex-spy Christopher Steele declined to give an interview with U.S. Attorney John Durham's review of the Russia investigation.

Representatives for Steele, whose unverified dossier was used by the FBI to obtain warrants to wiretap a member of President Trump's 2016 campaign, were recently approached by members of the federal prosecutor's team and they said the former MI6 agent would not cooperate with the inquiry

30 pieces of silver. And a walk in the park if he doesn’t keep his mouth shut.

Of course not.

He’s as fake as his dossier.

Go pound sand, Trump Hater!

"...he may prefer to go to prison to avoid the ire of Clinton!"

After all, that plan worked out so well for Jim McDougal and Jeffrey Epstein.

If Julian Assange can be deported on trumped-up charges (yes, I said it), why can’t we put something on this a**hole Steele to get him back here?

Aiding and abetting treason perhaps?

And why should he?

Seriously, what is going to happen to him if he doesn't? Go to Jail? Please.

I suspect you are right. But I never expected the bad guys to be locked up - DC is way, way too corrupt for that. There are thousands of bad guys, all in positions of power, all covering each other’s back.

President Trump is like the incoming high school football coach, trying to discipline the star quarterback who is a total prick and a troublemaker, ruining the team. Well, it turns out the quarterback is the son of some wealthy, politically connected tycoon who owns half the town and employs half the townspeople. So, the high school kid has more power than the coach, and gets the coach fired. This nearly happened to President Trump!

You know the familiar story. Washington DC is like that, times infinity.

President Trump is the real deal, but the swamp is far worse than people think - there was no chance he was going to be able to fix thinks by appointing a few strong men at the top and ordering them to indict the bad guys and frogmarch the bad guys to prison. A President just doesn’t have that much power in our system. Every executive branch actions can and will be challenged by the other branches.

Ultimately, the people have to be squarely behind the President - he has to earn that over time - which he is doing.

The best we can hope for is that President Trump can continue to do what he has been doing - winning - outsmarting his enemies. He looks for job killing regulations, stupid policies and bad trade deals - makes changes - his enemies ridicule him - he is eventually proven right, embarrassing them, time after time. He’s got an amazing track record of doing this - getting rid of job killing regulations and bad trade deals, slowly but surely discrediting and disenfranchising the deep state globalists.

Every time he has one of these successes, he weakens the deep state’s source of power - the globalist corporate lobbies that pull the strings in Washington DC. He is sabotaging their deals and rackets - making their political extortions less profitable - disrupting their schemes.

When the wealthy lobbies and special interests get screwed enough times by one of President Trump’s maneuvers, they will begin to take their investment elsewhere - which devalues the bought-and-paid-for bureaucrats and legislators - and without the flow of bribe money - they are weakened and disoriented.

This is the only way President Trump will drain the swamp - I don’t think it will ever be a bunch of bad guys going to jail (much as I’d like to see it happen).

Steele is a slug. He’s as worthless as his phony "dossier".
I can't believe that Steele did the dossier thing without the permission and blessing of MI6 and the May British government. One doesn't simple retire from an intelligence service.

Excellent post.
It’s like K.T. McFarland said about the swamp when they tried to snare her in a perjury trap - there are govt lifers just sneering at Trump and thinking, “I was here before you, and I’ll be here after you.” Ugh.

Exactly. Did you see the guy from Pink Floyd on Tucker last night? Great interview!

Well UK asked for no declas of their involvement in the intel coup, right?

If Steele won’t play ball with Durham, POTUS should spill ALL the beans showing how UK was involved in the coup against our President.
