SEATTLE -- Three more people have died from the COVID-19 outbreak in the Puget Sound area, local officials said, as the number of confirmed cases swelled to 79, including confirmed cases now in Grant County and Jefferson County.
The three new deaths were patients being treated at EvergreenHealth Hospital, where now 12 of the deaths have occurred, hospital officials said. One earlier reported death occurred in a patient never hospitalized and the other was a death at Harborview last week that was later found to have been likely caused by COVID-19.
The coronavirus crisis in Washington state has prompted a legal battle between King County and the city of Kent over the county's plan to repurpose a motel as a quarantine village for those diagnosed with COVID-19.

And the city of Kent is trying to prevent King County from opening a "quarantine" in a local motel.
Kinda can't blame them as those who use it can come and go as they please.

A nursing home.
Only where the weakest and most frail of our society are besides a hospice.
What a nightmare.
Are there other nursing homes in the Seattle area that have had a number of patients diagnosed with this virus?
If so, is there something wrong with the staff at this one nursing home compared to the others?

When people started getting sick they did not get them tested for COVID-19.
now 3 nursing homes have confirmed cases there
They boarded when the US Gov was still saying the risk was very, very low and the very few cases here were contained.
I wonder if the 3 nursing homes shared workers, therapists or admin?
Shared therapists are probably common.
But workers moonlighting a second job isn’t unheard of.
Nursing home staff are low paid body managers. They are not equipped for this $hit.
Having this virus visited upon them was the perfect breeding ground for death.
Also visiting phlebotomists, podiatrists, etc.
Podiatrist$ make a boatload of money trimming the toenails of nursing home patients.
I wonder about the hospital.
