Democratic Denver councilwoman Candi CdeBaca faces calls to resign for sharing a woman's tweet threatening to deliberately infect Trump supporters with coronavirus at MAGA rallies if she catches the disease. The controversial tweet was made by a California woman on Friday which said: 'For the record, if I do get the coronavirus I'm attending every MAGA rally I can,' referring to Trump's 'Make America Great Again' rallies. CdeBaca retweeted the post and replied '#solidarity Yaaaas!!'

The Colorado Republican Party branded the tweet 'disgusting' for 'wishing harm on Americans who have different political beliefs'.
'Councilwoman CdeBaca praising a social media post calling for Trump supporters to be infected with the coronavirus is simply disgusting. There can be no room in our politics for wishing harm on Americans who have different political beliefs,' the party said in a statement.
'Democrats in Colorado and across the country need to condemn this evil statement. In light of these comments, the Colorado Republican Party is calling on Councilwoman CdeBaca to resign immediately.'
CdeBaca responded to one tweet saying, '1. Are you listening to ANYTHING Trump has said about the virus? 2. Do you realize Trump reduced the virus to a common flu? 3. I know sarcasm is hard to read in a tweet, but you are usually a bit quicker than this. Next time I will use more emoji's just 4 you.'
Her office has also come out in her defense.
They claimed her retweet was not wishing the deadly disease on Republicans but mocking Trump’s response to the spread of the disease and calling for the president to take further action.
‘Councilwoman CdeBaca made a sarcastic tweet on Twitter to call attention to the Trump administration’s downplaying of the Coronavirus outbreak as a ‘hoax’ no more dangerous than the common flu,’ the statement from CdeBaca’s office said.
‘Rather than conservative outlets making a four-day-old Tweet their focus on Super Tuesday, they should focus their energy on demanding a competent Federal response to this public health crisis instead.

I don't think that Trump would have put Mike Pence in charge if he didn't expect a good outcome.
(Unlike Obama, who put a partisan hack lawyer in charge of the Ebola response. The outcome was favorable here in the US (with only one (1) death) but I doubt Obama expected that.)

I don’t expect that at all. Her response so far from her spokesperson was to say it was “meant to be sarcastic in nature.” The dingbat did remove the tweet yesterday, so there’s the response and personally I expect nothing more unless it’s more ugliness :(
Another thought, if this councilwoman wants the outbreak to be treated seriously, she needs to act like it. Not make, as she refers to it, sarcastic remarks. Besides, what happened to the party of inclusion? Why didn’t she suggest the woman who would actually spread a disease to other human beings go to DEM rallies as well? You know, treat everyone equal, right?
This is clearly a criminal terrorist threat. Any DA with huevos should prosecute her.

So-called "liberals" want power and control. While claiming to advocate for one thing their actions speak far louder than their words. They want to control our lives. Think I'm wrong, over stating it? Try to live free of their control and influence yet say you don't like homosexuals, or illegal aliens, or anything else on the liberal agenda. You'll quickly see just how accepting of diversity so-called "liberals" really are - which is not at all.
People who want power and control want to use that power and control. That implies some level of violence towards people who don't want to be controlled. Liberal fascist types are the worst.
