University benefactors should be made more aware of the one-sided ideological profile of faculty and administrators and the relentless growth of the university bureaucracy and infrastructure that is driving up costs. They need to realize that the present volume of private money helps make universities impervious to pressure to reform some of their troubling practices, including their political tilt, their intolerance of dissent, and their burgeoning administrative apparatus.
Yet even for alumni and donors who are untroubled by these trends, there are still compelling reasons to redirect their generosity. Stopped giving to mine once they forced the Christian Fellowship to accept homosexuals as leaders. That was probably 10 years ago or more.

At least one of mine had the courage to print a few letters of condemnation in their magazine after they dissed Donald Trump’s election, but that’s the extent of their give a damn about the U.S. Constitution.

If you have a master's or doctorate and you'd like an occasional ping to threads on FR about your field or about higher education, freepmail Albion Wilde with your degree and profession.
I started this list during the 2016 Presidential election, when Trump supporters were depicted as stupid and uneducated.
Not an issue for me as I didn’t go to Ivy League. I went to Poison Oak League... ;)
