An illegal alien fined $280 for leaving two law enforcement officers dead after a negligent driving accident has since been driving freely in the United States, an investigation by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) finds.

Palacios was cited in September of last year in Carroll County, Md., on four alleged violations including negligent driving, failure to obey traffic control devices, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident.

Contrast that to this, from 1989:

"Bruce Kimball, a 1984 Olympic silver medalist in diving, Monday was sentenced to 17 years in prison and 15 years’ probation for a drunk-driving accident that killed two teen-agers and injured four last August in Brandon, Fla., a suburb of Tampa."

They both killed two, and Kimball's was a DUI, but the difference shouldn't be 17 years vs a fine.

As you noted, Bruce Kimball killed two people while driving drunk and was sentenced to 17 years in prison. But he served less than 5.

Evidently innocent lives are worth less than 2 1/2 years each.

If illegals kill cops, it’s “muh bad”.
If anyone else does it in any fashion accidentally or otherwise, it’s “crucify them”.
Equal protection/ equal enforcement is a myth these days, and illegals get to ignore all laws with impunity.
