Mitt Romney, who was the only Republican senator to break party lines and vote in favor of Donald Trump being impeached at his Senate trial earlier this month, is now attacking the president again. This time, the Utah senator is claiming that the Trump administration is totally unprepared for a potential coronavirus outbreak.
As Trump tried to tamp concerns over the coronavirus in New Delhi, saying that the situation was under control and is a problem thats going to go away, Romney was confronting officials in Washington D.C. at a private briefing on the virus. As a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, Romney claims to not think Trump is doing enough to stop coronavirus from spreading within the United States.
Im very disappointed in the degree to which weve prepared for a pandemic, both in terms of protective equipment and in terms of medical devices that would help people once they are infected, Romney said, according to The Hill.
I knew Willard was going to win my state...thus did not vote for the Slime Ball.
Funny what we remember as kids....
I've stories....
My own tribal affiliation has some Casinos...
Been in one once...just to check it out...I don't understand it.
I was up in S.D. a couple times hunting...they had a Casino...with a great cafe. Had to walk thru the games...to get to the cafe. Never played any games.....
Um, less than 3K have died from this! On the other hand, 16K have died from influenza thus far in the 2019-2020 flu season! How is it you guys pushing doom and gloom of Coronavirus conveniently ignore or try and spin this?
You folks are a big part of the problem, and you’re helping the Democrats push this hysteria!
Crown Prince of the I 15 Corridor
I love how this mutant alien thinks anybody, not from his home planet, gives a shit what he has to say.
Yep, you just know he’s keeping himself awake at night fantasizing about a Bloomberg-Romney “let’s bring the country together” ticket.
Hope you are correct, but how making sure enough supplies c?
fit in?
Nobody needs to accept anything until it happens. Nothing is certain in politics.
This is why it wouldve been helpful for Trump to get out in front of this with a primetime address to the nation on this issue. Two-bit opportunists like Romney and the dems should never be allowed to control the narrative.
Milt is unprepared for anything but kissing democrat butt.
Yep. Pierre is part of the swamp. Shouting out the panic call as started by Rod Rosenstein’s sister at the CDC. These deep state traitors are desperate. I wouldn’t put it past them to intentionally start an epidemic. Like the leftist enviro-whacos starting fires in Australia.
My thoughts exactly. The traitors control certain parts of the swamp. Remember the story a few days ago that DJT was angry that someone had counter-manded his directives and allowed some infected patients to enter the United States. Could be another plot to introduce this awful virus to our population in an effort to damage the President.
I’m not pushing anything, nor doom and gloom, I’m stating a reality. We have zero ability in the United States at this time to deploy 10,000 or more hospital beds for major urban areas in the event of a catastrophic event.
We have 20 million people who live on fault lines that can result in catastrophic earthquakes, we have people defecating in the streets of major cities - prime breeding ground for almost any communicable disease.
A big part of the problem is we treat disaster management in this country as a huge afterthought. We should be prepared, and the biggest roadblock are the liberals in congress giving away that money to support their buddies the illegals.
IMO the most important place to practice good hygiene is at the toilet. I’ve seen those little holes in the floor intended for toilet use in pictures and TV. Disgusting! Examples such as the hole in the floor toilet and the crapping in the SF streets are on one extreme end of the scale.
Now for the exact oppose is America’s obsession with no germs at all. Hand sanitizer everywhere as well as using latex gloves for chores they would never have been considered for a couple decades ago. These are just two examples.
Where I’m going with this is our obsession for a germ free culture is weakening our immune systems. The very immune system needed to help combat the unsanitary conditions brought in by the people who use the hole in the floor or crap in SF streets.
Gee, I seem to remember when the House wasted precious time on a pointless impeachment instead of dealing with this emerging problem.... and Mitt condoned it!
Doesn't matter for this one -- in fact, a very healthy immune system may allow for a cytokine storm and quick death.

All but one were people brought back from abroad, either China or the cruise ship and they are all either self quarantine or in a facility in Nebraska. 0 deaths, 6 recovered.
