IMO the most important place to practice good hygiene is at the toilet. I’ve seen those little holes in the floor intended for toilet use in pictures and TV. Disgusting! Examples such as the hole in the floor toilet and the crapping in the SF streets are on one extreme end of the scale.

Now for the exact oppose is America’s obsession with no germs at all. Hand sanitizer everywhere as well as using latex gloves for chores they would never have been considered for a couple decades ago. These are just two examples.

Where I’m going with this is our obsession for a germ free culture is weakening our immune systems. The very immune system needed to help combat the unsanitary conditions brought in by the people who use the hole in the floor or crap in SF streets.

Doesn't matter for this one -- in fact, a very healthy immune system may allow for a cytokine storm and quick death.
