Clint Eastwood is breaking his silence over the 2020 presidential hopeful he believes is best fit for office.
The 89-year-old discussed the #MeToo movement, career highlights and dished on his political views in a revealing interview with the Wall Street Journal, and it turns out Mike Bloomberg has the actor's support.
"The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there," Eastwood told the outlet.

Clint - get off my lawn
The check cleared.
It’s a shame when the mind clouds.
I understand Clint being an independent thinker and I still hope he was taken out of context.
But I cant fathom why hed think a totalitarian gun grabbing Hitler-esque fascist like Bloomberg would be good for the country given his previous stands.
Genteel is not a platform. Its not a strategy or a program or a goal.
Its gingerbread. And in some fights it might even be a fatal flaw.
Yeah, Bloomdork must be investing in Clint’s next movie. The upside is that the demo-kiddies won’t know how to react. They’ll be waiting on marching orders from... somebody.
I don’t think so. Too many whacko lefties he works with. He’s throwing them a bone knowing it’s in the bag for Trump.
Well remember when Clint did his famous convention speech to the empty chair it was to support Romney for president. If Clint is a Republican it is strictly of the Romney or Bush league variety.
In before the I don’t watch Fox, this is fake news, I threw away my tv in 1984 comments
Genteel doesn’t butter the beans, Clint.
We thought he supported the GOP in 2012 because he wanted Pbama defeated, but maybe Romney is just his speed. By the way, another article says he regrets the empty chair speech.
IDK. It depends on if he has any integrity or wopuld sell out to make his social circle accept him. I always thought he was a principled man so I add it up differently.
Huh? I am stunned.
I can’t believe Clint would give up his AR’s and everything else he has to this filthy little New York prick Bloomberg. It may have been a tongue in cheek thing to emphasize his wish for Trump to be more genteel.
Funny, I wish Trump would be as savage to Democrats as Democrats have been to him, and before him to Republicans.
Lololo Clint Eastwood? Wishes Trump would be more genteel? Hahahaha that’s funny! Maybe he feels some kind of guilt for being a badass himself.
He had a restaurant there. I'm sure Clint would have liked Bloomberg regulating his business there too. < /sarcasm >
In fact he had some problems with the local government there at one time, I don't remember (or care) what it was.
He’s lost it.
“...he’d like to see the president act “in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names.”
But it is entirely okay with Clint that Trump is called a traitor, a Russian asset, Hitler, a racist, etc., and Trump is supposed to sit back and enjoy it.
