China has reportedly deployed 40 industrial incinerators to the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak Wuhan.
Chinese media reports that the furnaces have been shipped to the city amid ongoing fears the death toll is being covered up.
NTD reports that the cabins are for the disposal of animal carcasses, while China Ship news reports the incinerators are for medical waste.
Wuhan has been at the centre of the global epidemic which has infected more than 75,000 people and killed more than 2,000.
It is believed the virus spread from bats to other animals in the so-called wet markets in the city before being passed to humans.
Sources quoted in Chinese media raise questions over whether or not the incinerators are for animals, or will be used to dispose of human remains.

“Unlikely to the point of impossibility.
Youd have to have some sort of incomplete burn dropping unburnt pieces.”
Not really. Poison ivy affects those susceptible via smoke. There is no need to touch embers or ashes to have an sllethic reaction.
Yea, I know, we are talking about a virus. It in one we have never met before.
You see, preventing folks see this would be what type of behavior?
Any guesses?
If it causes you a case of the vapors, try to buck up.
I describe these numbers for what they are.
I don't mince words about what they may or may not mean.
Is my language too complex for you? Are you not adult enough to grasp
that just because I post these numbers, it's not an endorsement of them?
Link me to one post where I have stated these are the rock solid truth,
and no other perceptions of cases or mortaility should be considered.
The comparison with Auschwitz-Birkenau really unnerves me....
??
Because of the similarities or because people are making the comparison?
How do they define “medical waste”?
Yes, nothing can’t be solved with batteries containing cobalt mined by African kids!
Urushiol (what makes poison ivy poison) is a mix of catechols.
It has no relation to a virus.
You might as well have said “well, burning plastic makes toxic chemicals, so we don’t know what burning this virus would do.”
Your theory is something out of Dawn of the Dead.
All the bodily fluids and fecal material and all the materials used to clean or contain them from 75K infected persons. All the disposable bio suits the medical staff wear while caring for the sick...
They are producing mountains of infectious waste that needs to be incinerated.
Of course China is “covering up.” There are no true pronouncements from China about the Virus or probably about much of anything else.
This virus is a huge loss of face for the Chinese. A huge blow to their prestige.
I just realized that these mobile incinerators is probably what they’ve been using to dispose of infected hogs from the swine flu epidemic that they have been trying to stomp out for some time now.
I’m guessing that they’ll import more people in to fill any significant voids, after the 40 new incinerators do their work. That “wet market” is probably going to disappear, too.
You would think that market would disappear, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
I’m sure there are many like it across China, and people have been eating that way for a long time.
That’s logic talking, perhaps flawed, but I’m thinking it’s probably true.
You may be 100% right.
Sounds like dry run for the AntiChrist
Whew! That certainly helps assuage my suspicions about anything being covered up in Wuhan! Nothing to see here folks, move along. The industrial incinerators are here, we can have faith that everything here is transparent and all is well.
With most countries, I would agree with you.
But what are the chances these incinerators were made in China, with the exacting quality standards that country is known for? And that the people operating them will follow all directions and protocols to the letter, no matter how inconvenient?
I still think the virus surviving the fire is unlikely, but not unlikely enough!
The chances of somebody taking a shortcut resulting in an incomplete burn, are all too real.
The commies just happened to have 40 incinerators laying around.
Yeah, it is sci-fi.
That will make a lot of wong tongs
