I too think it’s disinformation.

But it’s possible that someone got to him or his family. We know the DS are looking every which way to make him back down.

The good news is the Vacancies Reform Act allow POTUS to choose pretty much whoever he wants to fill in as Acting AG for up to 210 days.

There are 258 days until November 3. Barr can leave after about 2 more months. Then POTUS can appoint an Acting AG that can serve until after the election.

Bull. Go find your spine. DOJ answers to the President.

Checks and balances. Read about it. The DOJ is NOT the Judicial Branch and was formed around 1870.

I’m being sincere, when I say that Trump should refrain from being a factor in prosecution cases from the DOJ.

I love Trump and I wish he were my Prime Minister instead of the aspiring Mr. Secretary-general and Quebec lap dog that I have now. However, I can see some appointed judge dismissing a case due to contamination of a Trump tweet because he publicly coloured a case.

The current succession within the DOJ is for Deputy AG Jeffrey Rosen to take over that role. Now there's a real Trump-like character for you (NOT).

A temporary hire under the Vacancies Act would have to be someone who had previously worked in a post that required Senate confirmation. That seriously limits options for the President, and can only be a temporary appointment anyway.

Face it, folks ... William Barr is likely to be the best AG you're ever going to see in a Trump administration.

I have defended President Trump and his Twitter use for years now ... but when it comes to active DOJ cases he really needs to grow up and shut the f#&% up.

Where in The Constitution does it say the AG of the DOJ is independent?

I’ll wait.

Tweeting about the DOJ isn’t going to help Trump’s friends one bit.

If he’s not a lawyer he doesn’t stand a chance of getting appointed to the AG post.

Sorry. That was kind of my point. I was indicating to the original person that he isnt an attorney.

quitting over President Trump's tweets

The President isn’t his enemy. His real enemies attack him relentlessly, and they will celebrate his decision to quit.

Good! He has no intention of prosecuting coup plotters. This time the President needs to pick someone who will lock up criminal democrats. NO SWAMP CREATURES.
