Eh, just take a little brake.
They'll be back in 6 to 8 hours.

Glass cockpits are pretty nice but only as good as the programmer and the circuitry. Analog is still your friend.
I flew 'glass' when it was new, 737-300 and 757-767 and NEVER had even the slightest problem with it. WTH?

This is beginning to sound like industrial sabotage, or the result of hiring off shore to code the software. Makes ya think someone should be looking at the bank accounts of some programmers.

So, if it is a repeatable condition, then it can be tested with a reliably occurring outcome, and then fixed?

I suspect ex-coal workers who were taught by Slow Joe how to code. /s

The 737-300, wasn't that the first version with the wider turbofans?
The old skinny engines looked kind of sad.
People are adding glass cockpits to ultralights now using cheap tablet computers...pretty cool. It's amazing the number of instrument you can put up using just the capabilities built into some tablets with simple software.
No need for the ARINC data bus...just use bluetooth with remote sensors.

Haven’t flown since 1996. Doubt I’ll start now. I’ll just drive my truck. Not valid for European tours :)

So, if it is a repeatable condition, then it can be tested with a reliably occurring outcome, and then fixed? I'd think so, but a lot of testing would have to be done to make sure it's fixed.

“737NG is 25 years old now.”
The airframe yes, but many of the avionics systems are newer and some of the code in those systems, newer still.
