Howdy, Kathy.
We’ve had two days without rain now but it’s a long way from dry around here. No standing water on the farm now but there are lakes and ponds all around that will be there for a while.
It was pretty to look at through the windows but that sunshine was deceiving. COLD!!! Our friends from FL came up for the weekend and said they about died when they got in town during the wee hours. It was 88 degrees when they left home and in the 20s when they got here.
I didn’t intend to leave the house at all but we went out to hang out with them for a while this evening. It hurt to step outside.
Tomorrow will be in the 50s.
So the wind FINALLY laid down up there, did it? I know y’all are happy about that! Has to be brutal when it’s as cold as it’s been.

((LOL))Well, actually he behaved himself yesterday. It wasn’t too adventurous. He did however wanted to walk the rocks so I had to do it with him. Those rocks a sometimes difficult to navigate.
Sure would be nice if he didn’t like those rocks so much, wouldn’t it? LOL! We don’t want you wearing a cast on a broken ankle. Glad you got home unscathed and had a good time while you were out.
Well, today is sunny and cold! Not as cold as it is where you are though. :-)
