The U.S. Senate voted Wednesday to advance a War Powers resolution which would limit President Donald Trumps ability to use military action against Iran without approval from Congress.
The vote was bipartisan, 51-45, with eight Republicans voting with Democrats. The eight Republicans in favor of the resolution included Utah Sen. Mike Lee, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Maine Sen. Susan Collins, Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander, Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy, Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, and Indiana Sen. Todd Young.

Nah, hell simply veto it.
Doesn’t it still need Trump’s signature to become law?
Yup. It means nothing.

Only 17 more needed to override his veto. Good luck with that.
I hope they are the first to go when the Globalist jihad reaches our shores. (They are already here but probably need to gain more people before they can act) Can Trump veto this? And why did it start in the Senate?
So who were the traitors, the usual suspects?
further down in the story:
“The resolution could be vetoed by Trump, as he vetoed a War Powers resolution in 2019.”
Dems and their media are grasping for anything positive for their side. My question is, which Democrats did not vote for this?
How man of those are up for re-election? They should all be primaried. Period.
Trump did nothing out of line.
Congress can go get stuffed!
NVM I see them there.

I imagine that the 4 missing votes are those of the Dem candidates for Pres.
Wasn’t cocaine Mitch trying to get support to thwart trump on this yet again?
Veto. Not enough votes to override it. This was kabuki theater,
“””My question is, which Democrats did not vote for this?”””””
Probably the ones off running for president. They don’t seem to think they need to show up for work anymore.
And it will be vetoed just like it was last year
Only four more times to go hopefully...
The congress main power in defense or war arena is Its power of the purse. Such resolutions do not limit constitutional presidential powers.
Wait 51/45..... If 8 RINO’s voted for it that would mean some Democrats voted against it right?
