Go Bernie! I hope he gets a clear lead, and then they pull the rug out from under him. They will almost have to. If they don’t, Trump will cruise to a win against him. If they do, Trump will cruise to a win, AND the Democrats will alienate their most politically active subgroup. This year has the potential to harm the Democrat Party in a way that hasn’t happened since the 1994 mid-terms.
The Democrats went hard Left. Like, left of Stalin. That’s just a fact.
Now they see their election chances slipping away, they trot out all kinds of “centrists” who sagely advise that Bernie is a bridge too far. Perhaps a billionaire like Bloomberg would be a wiser choice?
Make no mistake: They are still hard Left. They aren’t changing. They are just trying to figure out how to “sell” it.
So state you promise to bring us none of the things that Trump stands for is not maybe the best election strategy you could formulate.
Now this is awkward because the alternative is to admit you are for some things Trump is for, which is only not self-indulgent temporizing if you get behind some of it and held it happen. Which just helps Trump.
But it will make you look better and maybe you can find a candidate and figure out something you stand for that people will go for - NEXT TIME.

I posted this before, but just a repeat. I spoke to a former cop who was in Sander’s home. He said the place was a filthy pig sty, and Bernie and his wife smelled like they seldom bathe. It’s a visual that I think of every time I see him on TV.

In 2018, they lied to their constituents, telling them that they would work in a nonpartisan fashion to properly represent their districts. They immediately fell in line with Nancy Pelosi and followed her in lockstep all the way to their impeachment vote. Now, they are going to support Bernie if he is the nominee and lie once again, promising that they will not support the socialist agenda.
Voters know better.

We shouldn’t get too cocky..we’ve been past the “tipping point” for a while now where the number of people who expect everything for “free” outnumber hard working Americans with more traditional values (and common sense).
I’ll admit to being more than a little concerned about The Commie, because I think he could conceivably win - partly due to a large number of people who can’t think past what “free” things they’ll get, plus the inevitable election fraud and cheating. Add in the MSM, Big Tech and “Orange Man Bad” TDS and things look tight at best. And if The Commie does win, the damage done by the last POTUS who wanted to “fundamentally transform” America will look like a gentile Sunday tea party by comparison.
I grew up with the Democrat Party being the party of the “working man”, until the Unions got their way and no one could work, here, anymore.
As “labour” was drying up, the Democrats shifted increasingly to the disaffected. They glommed onto Blacks, implementing programs to make them more disaffected than ever.
Government workers, what mostly remain of “Unions” in this country, and women would make up most of their “base” with the still-solid Blacks as a voting block, in my estimation, today.
With seeming acceptance of a diminishing “base”, they now appear to be concentrating solely on the fringe disaffected. They even create them out of whole cloth by terrorizing children. None of this can last, of course, as these fringes are anti societal, but the Democrats seem locked into this political mode.
The irony is that Trump can actually be the savior of the Democrat Party.
Only he seems interested in restoring the working man to his rightful place as the engine that drives this country. The Democrats can then, suddenly, “rediscover” their base, and a return to sanity.
I believe Trump WAS a Democrat. He was probably the last, just as he appears now to be the last Republican.
The great thing about Sanders running is that if it is perceived by his supporters that he was cheated out of the nomination, many will stay home. So these Dems are walking a line that is about a nanometer in diameter between having a Socialist/Communist on the ballot and having a bunch of their voters go for Trump, and pissing off the Berniebots and having them stay home. Either way, they lose.
Couldn’t happen to a more corrupt, smarmier, more totalitarian-oriented bunch of utter scumbags.
