There are currently 42,729 confirmed cases worldwide, including 1013 fatalities.
Good live map to go along with it too.
TRANSLATED FROM HLN ( Belgian Newspaper )
British scientists have published a map showing how fast the coronavirus (could) spread further in the coming months. It was made based on telephone data and flight data of 59,912 passengers arriving from Wuhan to 382 cities

The number of people in serious and critical condition in Hubei province continues to rise: from 5,505 yesterday to 6,344 today
can’t believe this hasn’t hit the slums of india yet.
Worldometer is reporting a study that says the incubation period could be up to 24 days.
CFR = Number of Deaths / (Number of Deaths + Number of Recovered)
According to the official numbers for Coronavirus, as of this moment, this is:
910 / (910 + 3578) = .20, or 20%
The vast majority of these cases, however are in China, where the healthcare system is overwhelmed. In a country where the healthcare system is not (yet) overwhelmed, the CFR will almost certainly be lower, as they can put many of these patients on ventilators and provide the care they need to recover.

“Does this satellite image show the scale of China's coronavirus cremations? Sulphur dioxide emissions which are produced when bodies are burned reach alarming levels in Wuhan”
2,222 released from hospital. 2,097 new cases.
Is this the first time China propaganda claimed more cured than new cases?
MARKER
Cool map. Thank you for posting it.
Will lower the confirmed numbers and increase the calculated cumulative fatality rate.
Compared to other Freepers, I’m not so good at epidemiology, etc.
But from looking at the live map, it appears as though many of the deaths are in China.
Could that be because (a) pollution is rampant in that country - thus injuring victims lungs and affecting their ability to recover and/or (b) overall healthcare is not as good in China?
Just some thoughts...

It could also be due to the fact that their healthcare system is simply overwhelmed. There are not enough ventilators, ICU beds, medicines, and personnel to give infected patients a fighting chance. You are likely to see lower Case Fatality Rates (CFR) in places where the healthcare system has not (yet) been overwhelmed.
Since other countries are now forewarned, they have the opportunity to gear up to increase capacity, such as by keeping ICU beds open by postponing elective surgeries, reallocating resources, stockpiling supplies, and implementing policies and procedures to handle and isolate cases that appear at their doors, now that they know this might happen. At the hospital I work for, we’re already doing that.
I think everyone here should read this article. You can get this test done yourself through www.directlabs.com if you can’t afford to go to the Dr.
