Howdy, LUV.

Did you have fun watching the kitties freak out at the snow y’all got today? LOL

We’re drowning here and as I started typing this, another round of heavy rain started. *sigh*

Hey there! I kind of felt sorry for them. They looked bewildered and were cold. Li’l Bit banged on the front door this morning to come in, and I couldn’t get her to go out till nearly dark. Of course, Peaches and Ginger weren’t the best of hosts. LOL! I did get a few pictures but not like I thought I would.

More rain? Yeesh. You guys are going to grow fins!

Poor babies haven’t had much of a winter to give them heavy coats so I imagine they ARE cold. And wondering just what the heck that white stuff is that’s all over everything.
Poor Li’l Bit, forced back outside after being toasty warm all day.

I dumped the rain gauge at midnight and there was 5.2 inches in it and there’s more to go. And they said we’ll get some snow overnight tomorrow night. :-(

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Over 5 inches!! We've had less than one inch since mid-December. Boggles the mind.

The kitties have grown pretty nice winter coats. They feel so soft and puffy when I pet them. Got this of Grey this morning...since she was the only one who had poked her head out. LOL! and one of Peaches from the night before when the snow wasn't so deep

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

How bad was your weather yesterday? Did you get as much snow as TX?

We got waaaaaaay too much rain and it’s STILL raining. Had a brief lull in the afternoon so I was able to make a quick cat food run in the dry.

They said we’d probably get 5 inches by the time this system moves out but we’re already there. No telling what the final tally will be. I was shocked at how much standing water I saw when I made a quick store run. And the water in the deep ditch that runs alongside the RR tracks was about to cover the tracks in one spot.
Got a little lightning/thunder action going on now but when I get up to look out the window, it stops. As soon as I sit back down, there it is again. grrrr!!!!!

I didn’t realize you’d had so little rain. I thought you had a couple of decent rainfalls last month. At least you got this snowfall and that’s a little moisture for your grass.

Pretty little Grey didn’t look to excited about her first experience with snow. Peaches looks like he was having fun digging for buried treasure. LOL

And now I wait for Comcast to come back so I can post this. I’m so tired of it going out all the time. *sigh*

We did get quite a bit of snow yesterday. I think they said Duncan had about 4 inches or so.

We spent the entire day here at the house. Gizmo and I did do some outside activity. He loves the snow. Dogs get wild in this type of weather.

It's supposed to clear off today. They're forecasting a high of 38 today. Hopefully this will melt off most of the snow.

So you’re still having problems with them eh? Maybe they are drowning in all that rain. You need to put your chair next to the window so you don’t have to run back and forth. :)

We never had any rain in January till the very last week and it only amounted to .9 of an inch. This is very wet snow, so it should help some and it’ll soak in slowly.

Guess I’d better go for now. I didn’t get much of a nap. Between the virus stream and a call from an old [not age but time] and dear friend, now I’m sleepy. LOL! So...see ya tomorrow!

Can’t blame you for hunkering down for the day. Not much fun in the snow - - unless you’re Gizmo. LOL

If you get the temp and sunshine they promise, the snow should be gone by sunset. I hope the temps go up even more afterwards so y’all can get back out to the lake.

Still having occasional problems. It hasn’t been nearly as often lately, at least, but it’s happened a few times today.

If I put the chair next to the window, I can’t reach the computer. LOL! There wasn’t all that much lightning any way and it wasn’t real close by.

Ok, I thought I’d remembered a good rainfall there. The ol’ memory cells still fire once in a blue moon. :-) I sure wish we could send this stuff back your way because we do NOT need it. The front stalled over us and the rain just keeps a-comin’.

Steve’s streams have eaten into your naptime a lot lately. Get a good night’s sleep so you’ll be ready for the next one. The way the numbers are jumping, you’ll be busy for a while.

Sleep well.

We had a little dusting of white overnight.

I think winter may have returned to us.

Oh Well.

Happy Thursday, you Early Birds!
It's a beautiful day here.
Bright sunshine that will melt the snow.
We got 8" total...surprised ME!
The kitties were bewildered by it.
They didn't know where to step. LOL!
But...it'll be gone in a day or so.
Anyway....all y'all have a fantastic day!
((((hugs))))
