This also creates the perfect storm for Democrats.
Allegations that they’re rigging their own primary, again. Bringing back stories of the 2016 rigged election.
Making everyone reasonably doubt that Democrats can run things ... because if you can’t handle a caucus in a small state, how will you handle everyone’s healthcare?

Anointed candidate.
Like Obama, Buttmunch had no national name recognition. Like Obama, Buttmunch is pushed by highly influential DNC insiders who have resources and bots paid to pimp out whoever they are ordered to canvass for. Group think peculates and then Wallah, powerful front runner. Add in fraud which is easy to do in a caucus format, then even more powerful frontrunner to generate momentum to capture a significant amount of States.
Hillary 2016, Obama in 2008, Kerry in 2004, Gore in 2000, Mondale in 1984 and Carter in 1976 all won Iowa. Harkin in 1992 was an outlier because he was from Iowa.

“Buttigieg gave a confident victory speech before any results were in. And surprise, he does win.”
He didn’t win. It’s a partial release. 62% of the tallies only.

I thought Buttigieg would bring up the rear.\
Especially as the mayor of South Bend. (rimshot)

Paul would of been a huge improvement over Romney; at least I wouldn’t feel regret/the cringe for/of voting for the Romney/Ryan fiasco.

In the Democratic party being a homosexual or member of any grievance group, makes one special and honored. Which might mean that in the end Bernie people will link up with Pete if their own man loses. Buttigieg will have the "outsider" appeal.

Buttigig had the Obama field organizers working the precincts statewide, including all the small rural towns.
Sanders has novices. They did a classic ID & Pull operation which worked fine in the urban areas and college towns. Explains the mobs at his events. But he’ll be no match for the Dem establishment and will be outmaneuvered continually.
Nominee won’t be Bernie.
Won’t be Biden

Still only partial results. Bernie slightly ahead in first popular vote.
But who cares, CampaignPete, Mr. Iowa, what’s this shiite about Weld possibly winning a delegate with 1.3% of the vote? A mistake? Or did he win enough precincts in Dickface county? You need to answer for this.

I am listening to Larry Elder and he gave the current percent tallies. too early for anyone to claim victory
there are 38% of the results unaccounted for, that’s more than any candidate got
