The Netflix sitcom The Ranch was once called a “conservative” sitcom, but as it ends its run this month, the series has veered left with an anti-gun message among other virtue signaling fare.
When it debuted in 2016, the streaming sitcom starring Ashton Kutcher and Sam Elliott brought reviewers to note that swipes at Barack Obama, support for guns and hunting, love of tractors and cars, and criticism of global warming, made it more conservative than most TV shows.
“Me. I’m sick of it. I’m sick of people saying they need an assault weapon to defend themselves, and I’m sick of turning on the TV and seeing another mass shooting. Beau, why aren’t you f**king sick of it?” Winger’s Maggie replies.

I gave up on it last season. It was little more than profanity laced tirades between the various characters.

Well, since the proper definition of an assault rifle is one that has a full auto mode, they are pretty darned hard to get. That’s the problem with being “woke.” It’s awfully close to being completely ignorant.
I watched about ten minutes of the first episode about six months ago and couldn’t get into it.
Its the final season. Maggie went full on communist, gun-grabbing, lesbian in the final. What a waste.

they keep answering this question that was never answered. The whole point is that the 2nd amendment restricts the federal government from infringing on the rights of the individual to bear arms. And if you’re going to incorporate all the other amendments down to the states, then you should incorporate this one to guarantee that the states wont interfere with this constitutional guarantee.
I tried to watch this show once and i saw immediately that it was a setup.

One cannot buy an assault weapon without an extensive 12 month or longer background check, a $200 tax stamp and 10’s of thousands of dollars.
Assault weapons being full auto are tightly regulated.
No new transferrable weapons since 1986.
Semi auto rifles are not assault weapons.
Then be sick of it. Hope you drop dead from your sickness, in fact.

I’m sick of all these men insisting they “need” access to another man’s backside, and all those women who need to have their babies sucked up by a vacuum cleaner. When they are willing to give those up, maybe we can talk.
