Do you love the smell of Democrat panic in the morning? Then you're sure to dig Donny Deutsch on today's Morning Joe. Poor Donny was in hyper-hysteria mode at the prospect of Bernie Sanders winning the Dem nomination. He was reacting to a new poll showing Sanders with a stunning nine-point lead in Iowa, before heading to New Hampshire where he is also strong. Bernie beat Hillary by 22% last time around in the Granite State.
Deutsch repeatedly raised the specter of Sanders, with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as his most prominent surrogate, being the "faces" that can't beat President Trump. Donny claimed that anyone who thinks Sanders can beat Trump is "smoking something."

So while I obviously detest what his platform is, he seems to embody what the majority of demoncRats want to vote for.

I think BERNIE has a pretty low ceiling in America. Probably a max of 35%. BERNIE praised Chavez, Castro etc. Those countries are going down a rat hole. Under BERNIE that would be America’s future.

My spouse and I were just speculating on this. After Bernie Sanders wins Iowa and New Hampshire,
my spouse said Democrats will trot out the heavy weights (both Obamas and Hillary) to backstab Bernie.
While I said, Bernie will suffer another inconvenient hospital stay (cough)heart problem(cough) that he couldn’t campaign for weeks.
the corrupt DNC will buyout Crazy Bernie just like 2016...he will not be the nominee, they will blame poor health or some other BS.
I agree completely with carcraft, Bernie has praised the leaders of countries in ruin from socialism.
He honeymooned in the Soviet Union.
He says he wants to do that to the USA.
He might lose as bad as Mondale or McGovern.
At least Bernie will get a nice new dacha in the deal.
Maybe. Or maybe the corrupt Dem team buys Bernie another, yet bigger, Dacha. Who knows, maybe Bernie will suddenly command $200k per speech next year or earn seven figures doing nothing on the Board of some leftwing tech corporation. Not like this would be without precedent.

On the other hand, maybe Team Hillary just kills him.
