A source close to the Trump administration informs Breitbart News that Army Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, a senior ethics lawyer for the National Security Council (NSC), is in charge of reviewing all publications by current and former NSC officials.
The New York Times reported Sunday evening that Bolton’s draft book manuscript, which had been submitted to the NSC for prepublication review on Dec. 30, alleged that President Trump told Bolton in August 2019 that he wanted to withhold security assistance to Ukraine until it agreed to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, among others.
Bolton’s lawyer, Chuck Cooper, issued a statement in which he said: “It is clear, regrettably, from The New York Times article published today that the prepublication review process has been corrupted.”
Yevegeny Vindman is the identical twin brother of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who is one of Democrats’ key witnesses in the impeachment of President Donald Trump. The brothers have offices across from each other.

Was it right after dems voted impeachment and then vindman leaks to dems in congress and therefore is the reason nancy suddenly held on to the articles demanding to hear from witnesses before she would release because she knew they no longer could call bolton but the Senate could?

There are military regulations that forbid a member from publicly expressing negative views of their leaders. That applies when in uniform. Lt Col Vidman has violated those rules and orders from his commander to cease such conduct. He appeared in full uniform and insisted that he be addressed by his rank. That makes him guilty of insubordination and failure to obey direct orders. He could be reduced in rank, lose security clearance and ,maybe, receive a bad conduct discharge. None of that will happen to the “Hero”. There are alternatives. He and his brother could be reassigned to a Biden type job with a 6x6 foot “office”, “his and his pots”, a 15 watt bulb for light and bread and water at random times. They are experienced at being confined in a small dark space.
Meantime I’m going to wash my brain with another cup of coffee. Feel free to add your ideas.
If the chief law enforcement officer of the United States wants somebody investigated over an allegation of corruption that is fine no matter who the other person is. Nobody gets immunity just because they are a candidate. If that was true then everyone involved with investigating President Trump when he was a candidate would have been in the wrong -- and yet the Democrats maintain that investigation was legitimate.
The motivation behind the action doesn't matter. Maybe it should, but it doesn't. After all, what is the motivation of the many Democrats who call for the non prosecution of laws they and their voters don't support?
