VA Gun Sales 73,849 in December, a 47% Increase Over 2018

Data from Virginia gun dealers show there were 73,849 firearm sales in December 2019, an increase of 47% over the number of gun sales in December 2018, reported the Associated Press.

Sales soared apparently "due to growing fears of increased firearms restrictions backed by Democrats who control the state government," said the AP.

Since 1990, the only month that topped last month for gun sales was December 2012, when there were an estimated 75,120 firearm sales.

Great to hear. I trust you sell hundreds, even thousands more.

Well that takes care of some of the slumping sales they were having.

If anyone knows of any ANTI-2A reporters in the Virginia area, especially around Stafford, please send their names my way. Have something special planned with a local FFL dealer for them and need to round up our audience.

“VA Gun Sales 73,849 in December, a 47% Increase Over 2018”

One has to wonder how many of those gun buyers sat out the last election, because they just didn’t see a reason to vote for a RINO...they needed to ‘send the GOP a lesson’, etc.

One also has to wonder how many of them voted Democrat...possibly because they always did, possibly because they never believed the Democrats would really go after their guns, or possibly because they were PROMISED by some of the Democrats that their gun rights would be protected (saying such, of course, probably suckered some of the above conservatives to sit out the election, too).

Hmmm. I don’t think anyone “plans” on turning them in. :-)

We’ll soon be seeing VA ambulance chasers (lawyers) becoming red flag chasers...

Has there ever been a SCOTUS case that uses the supremacy clause to nullify gun confiscation and red flag laws?

A lot sat out the last election that is why Virginia is in this mess. A good friend of mine and his wife were poll workers in the last election. The turnout in their precinct was very low. My friend knew the Dems were going to win.

....same with a number of our friends who still live in the Communist Commonwealth... ya can’t complain about the democrats who win elections when there are no republicans to oppose them...the latest: Senator Mark Warner will not run for re-election... Gov. Che Northam cannot succeed himself as Governor so he will run for Sen Mark Warner’s seat, and then former Gov. Terry McCaullife (Sp?) will run again for governor....Virginia will never be the conservative state that we moved to in the mid-1970s and loved so much...hell; even here in Texas we have so many Californicators moving in, it won’t be long before The Lone Star State turns purple, if not blue....!!

There was a story last week where the dems are trying to undo the one term limit on the governor.

The argument is that since the commonwealth allows a governor to serve two terms, as long as they aren’t consecutive, that the nonconsecutive part should be bypassed and let governors serve two consecutive terms.
Probably pass just in time for Northams reelection.

Those liberals are longing for the Hitler days when they loaded the Deplorables onto the trains to the gas chambers.

It might not work out like that, this time. It might just be a bit more like the Russians in Afghanistan.
