BEIJING -- The Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Saturday held a meeting on the prevention and control of the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus.
Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chaired the meeting.
The meeting decided to set up a CPC Central Committee leading group to oversee the work.
I’m concerned about the Coorsavirus too.
But I heard it’s much weaker than the Coronavirus.
There’s the Milleravirus. But I hear only cheap alcoholics get it.

Pneumonia is far more serious than the flu, right?

If you do get the Coronavirus try to get some Lyme disease to go with it.
It has a R0 of 2.5 to 3.8. That is how many people get infected by an infected person. The flu has a R0 of 1.28.

Pneumonia is a complication that often develops from the flu -- zoonotic and other forms.
There will be more protests as the Hong Kong government does nothing to prevent the inflow of infected Chinese people from the mainland. Some hospital staff are threatening to go on strike if the government doesn’t implement preventive measurements at the border.
I did a quick google search (yeah, I know) to see what would come up with the stories I am hearing that Bill and Melinda Gates actually bought rights to a vaccine for this type of virus and I was met with pages of "fact checker" websites saying this is conspiracy theory created by "ant-vaxxers, far right wing extremists, Q anon followers and 4 chan weirdos" and that, thankfully, Facebook is hard at work scrubbing their boards of such nonsense.
