'Everyone will get infected' Nurse at corpse-strewn hospital says quarantine failing

Corpses of coronavirus victims line hospital corridors of a hospital after becoming flooded with patients in Wuhan, as China's quarantine has extended to a further two cities.

Footage of the chilling hospital scenes, captured by a woman who claims to be a nurse, was posted to the country's social media today before being quickly censored.

In a post, the self-proclaimed medical worker said patients were being sent in non-stop without any quarantine measures in place.

She warned that "everyone will end up being infected and dying".

In the video, sheets cover what appears to be bodies sprawled up and door the corridors.

Thank the Lord viruses intrinsically do not kill off too many of the host.

There was an unintentional invasion of rabbits in Australia. A virus got introduced and started killing them en mass. The interesting thing to note is that the remaining rabbits not only developed a resistance to the virus but the virus itself mutated to a less lethal form. It's easier for a virus to spread if it only makes a host sick rather than kills them.

No doubt. But medicine is not the body's first line of defense against disease.

I’m in a rural area hundreds of miles from an international airport.
I count the medial system as part of my defence against this.

The last place I am going is to a medical facility - even in a rural area. That’s where all the sick people are. Currently there is already a serious respiratory virus in the US. It takes 3-6 weeks to get over it. Around here the clinics are full of folks that have it. Catching the latest Chinese virus on top of that would be fatal for sure.

I don’t remember the cannibalism part but I do remember him reporting the corpses stacked like cord wood and the roving gangs shooting anybody they came across. I have not watched him since.

The excavators are there, but where are the trucks to haul the dirt or dozers to even the grade. And why do they need to excavate anyway? Dont they have existing warehouses or other structures?

The central government wants to make a show of effort and concern.

Even though there’s nothing that can be done.

Everyone in the quarantine will become infected, many will get sick and some will die.

But if a government says that a quarantine becomes much harder to sustain.

Something this simple could bring down almost any government.
