“What does it take to impeach a President?”

A credible accusation, not a made up hysterical accusation based on strained reasoning

The Government Accountability Office -- a nonpartisan entity in the federal government that monitors how the feds spend tax revenue -- has concluded that Trump's request for a favor was a violation of law because only Congress can impose conditions on government expenditures.

BS. Federal "judges" are doing it all the time these days.

Federal election laws proscribe as criminal the mere solicitation of help for a political campaign from a foreign national or government. There is no dispute that Trump did this.

That is flat out a unproven aligation, nap is a POS.

Really? He did this merely because it would help his political campaign. And you know this how?

Why were people not prosecuted for assembling the Steele Dossier? That is much more obviously a case of colluding with foreign members of government to destroy a political candidate.

Judge Napolitano is the last person that should be talking about the impeachment. He was a strong supporter of the president until Trump told him no way would he be considered for a seat on the supreme court. Since that time he has vilified the president every day for any number of reasons.

Yeah?
So why is Hillary Clinton not in jail for the Steele Dossier then? Steele is British and parts of the fake dossier was created in Russia.

GAO is not non Partisan. it is currently run by an Obama appointee. That it released it supposed “report” the same day the Impeachment was finally delivered tot he US Senate indicates this is a PR stunt staged by the Democrat Fascists Party

The OMB, which actually manged the funds, says the GAO report is completely fraudulent with no basis in fact.

The same GAO found Obama broke the law 17 times. Why was he not impeached?

That a supposed “Judge” is this incompetent about the basic facts of Due Process and the Rule of Law is despicable

And the OMB says exactly the opposite.

The abuse consists of his efforts to extract a personal political "favor" from the president of Ukraine as a precondition to the delivery of $391 million in military aid. The favor he wanted was an announcement of a Ukrainian investigation of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden and his son Hunter.

What's this hack talking about? There's a transcript of the call, literally none of this is in it. Oh, some fired bureaucrats were found who assumed that this was all happening in some smoke filled room that they weren't in? Huh. Okay, sure. Run with that like it's fact then, I guess.

If he were right, then Clinton would not be in jail, she would be under it. He’s so full of it his eyes are brown.

The "judge" does not comment on a president's duty to safeguard taxpayers' money and/or to root out corruption by American citizens using connections to powerful US politicians in an effort to enrich themselves in foreign countries. The "judge" has also failed to take into account the comments of a confused and politically naive EU ambassador:

"No one else on this planet told you that Donald Trump was tying aid to these investigations, is that correct?” – Rep. Turner “Yes.” – Sondland."

I suspect some of the founders knew impeachment might become a political tool. Many did not want impeachment added to the Constitution, which is why it is hard to do (2/3rds of the Senate). There probably should have been explicit language about what would prompt an impeachment, like committing a federal crime.

Instead, the process of trying to take down ty he POTUS has involved non-elected officials going to prison primarily because of their association to Trump. Oh sure, some may have committed a crime, but in most cases, prison time would not have been the outcome.
