Towards the end of night two of the Senate impeachment trial, the Washington Post reported Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., left the trial over an hour before its conclusion.
Washington Post Reporter Paul Kane said Feinstein exited the Senate chambers through the carriage entrance into an awaiting car at 8:45PM.
On Wednesday, MSNBC Hosts Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes criticized senators who left the impeachment trial early, questioning their devotion to their country.
We also live in a country in which we ask every citizen to serve on juries. Most of those people have other jobs they have to take leave from. If the trial goes for a long time, often they dont collect their paycheck from that and are given a meager amount of money relative to what some of those people might make, Hayes said. These peoples job is to do this. This is literally their job. If you find it too annoying or frustrating or uncomfortable to sit for eight hours and listen, you can resign tomorrow and go get another job.

Even Feinstein knows it’s a waste of time....................
Boy is Chris Hayes a grouch.
If she resigned the voters in her less than salubrious state might elect someone with more energy. I want my liberals old and lazy. They are less harmful that way
Because it doesn’t take days and days to say “Orange Man Bad”.
I suspect that is why the gave the dims the extra time...go ahead and listen to schiff repeat the same crap over and over...see how you enjoy it..haha
She knows how she is going to vote and nothing is going to change her mind, so why listen?
BOL! The whatevers at MSNBC get vicious with an old woman, DiFi!

Maybe she had to go out for a Twinkie break.
I’m surprised the senate GOP doesn’t vote to dismiss, this is sad.
I've always thought that, on long trials, jurors should be paid a wage equal to a court bailiff.
You can’t blame Democrat, Diane Feinstein for leaving this Democrat Party boring farce. First very few Americans are watching on TV...why...meaningless and boring, boring, boring. Only butt wipes, Wallace, Perino, Baier & Williams (All FNC) are hanging on every word from the Democrat Scum and Vermin Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler & Schumer!!! This game is over...only the Democrats do not know it!!!
Madcow doesnt usually push work ethic. Funny to see in an absurd kind of way.
She already knows how she’s going to vote. She don’t need no stinking testimony.
Lock her up.
Or go back and do your job in the evening.
I think youre absolutely right. Funny to watch really.

No it isn’t.
I mean yes, technically, it is.
But this crap isn’t at all what they went through elections for. Actually haven’t to sit for an extended period of time? Psh! They are there to set up shell/shill companies, charitable foundations, and get their family members on the boards of companies that pay them for influence and access (otherwise known as favors), and when they retire, they sit on boards themselves, on wall street or silicon valley.
Job?
What job?
I would go crazy trying to pay attention to something for 8 hours. Break out the kindle or book.
No, this damages Democrat house reelection chances. Let’s make them play it out first.
