Mondays Lobby Day protest in Richmond, Virginia, should mark a high point in the gun rights debate. It is, at least to my recollection, the single largest gun-rights rally ever. If there was a larger onenot counting the American RevolutionId be delighted to know about it.
My point, though, is that 22,000 people showed up to let the governor of Virginia and legislature know that they werent interested in gun control.
However, those same lawmakers have made it clear that they dont care what those 22,000 people had to say.
Which is fine, I suppose, because gun owners in the state are digging in. Theyre also buying a whole lot of ammo.
An online ammunition shop has noticed an upsurge in ammunition sales in Virginia recently.
AmmunitionToGo.com, an online ammunition retailer based in Houston, Texas, reports that they have seen a massive upsurge in their online traffic and sales in Virginia.
The company says that the number of Virginians accessing their website in 2020 has increased by 137 percent as compared to this time period in 2019.
I doubt that any other businesses are affected as much by politics as firearm and ammunition manufacturers and retailers, said Brandon Black of AmmunitionToGo.com. Were now seeing a massive number of Virginia shooters stocking up on ammunition in anticipation of new laws that they believe will make it harder to purchase rounds legally.
The company released its sales from 2019 to 2020 for January 1 through January 20:
Arlington 339%
Ashburn Up 42%
Charlottesville 278%
Fredericksburg 161%
Newport News 102%
Norfolk 113%
Richmond 80%
Roanoke 155%
Suffolk 76%
Virginia Beach 207%

Time for the next move, all the counties vote on succeeding from Virginia. Either join West Virginia or Become South West Virginia. Give the reason there’s no way they will be governed by a racist govener who kills babies and disregards their constitutional rights.
South Virginia is a good name.
My guess is that the Governor is in the KKK clown suit. In either costume, definitely a fitting Democrat.
Everyone I know who was there says it was way more than 22,000.
I can see the day soon where people are going to open ammunition storage businesses where they will store your ammo in a climate controlled vault and you can buy unlimited ammo and have it shipped to you at a later date as a bulk shipment.
Va legislature is working on criminalizing forms of criticism of them by the public, and extending term limits...even doubling them.
I don’t know how much evidence of tyranny you need...get out while you can. Before they pass a bill stopping you or charging enormous exit taxes.
Hoooo boy. Hope they dont start tallying ammunition spent. I do however hope there is an uptick in range visitation numbers. Gun control.
Truth hurts. Smack them with it. Its what you do to bullys.
Right! While those ranges still exist!
I ran across this in a American Shooter Magazine. I'm getting some on Payday just to feel all warm & fuzzy;)

Demiranians are the best gun buy and ammo buying spokes people out there.

I keep a couple magazines of the Underwood Extreme Cavitator in .30 carbine handy.
That stuff is damned near $2.00 a round in .45, plus shipping. Youd be far better off learning to reload your own. Youll end up with 3 times the ammo for the price.
And itll do the job just fine.

If I had the space for the equipment, the money to buy it and the dexterity and grip in My Fingers (severe Neuropathy in both hands/feet) I would love to Load My own Rounds.
I dont plan to use this Ammo for practice but as a cleanup for scumbags trying to harm My Family and Innocent People.
