A morbidly obese ISIS fanatic dubbed “Jabba the Jihadi” has been captured by Iraqi forces — who loaded him onto a flatbed truck because he couldn’t fit in a police car.
The 560-pound mufti Abu Abdul Bari, also known as Shifa al-Nima, was nabbed Thursday by an elite SWAT team of the Nineveh regiment in the city of Mosul, according to Stars and Stripes.

By contrast, Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikriti, the head of the Mukhabarat, Saddam’s security agency, and Awad Hamed al-Bandar, former chief judge, were executed on January 15, 2007, also by the long drop method, but Barzan was decapitated by the rope at the end of his fall indicating that the drop was too long, relative to his body weight.
This may change the procedure as I’m not sure if there is a rope drop short enough not to decapitate the prisoner due to his immense weight. They may have to use injection or gas to get it done.
