- U.S. presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg told Reuters he is ready to spend much of his vast fortune to oust Republican President Donald Trump from the White House in 2020, rejecting criticism from rivals for the Democratic nomination that the billionaire is trying to buy the U.S. Ranked by Forbes as the eighth-richest American, Bloomberg has flooded U.S. airwaves and social media feeds with messages that he stands the best chance to beat Trump, spending more on campaign ads since he launched his campaign in November than his main Democratic rivals have over the last year.
“Number one priority is to get rid of Donald Trump. I’m spending all my money to get rid of Trump,” Bloomberg told Reuters aboard his campaign bus on Saturday, during a nearly 300-mile (483-km) drive across Texas, one of the 14 states that will vote on Super Tuesday on March 3.

There’s a method to his madness. He knows he can’t win the Democrat nomination but by funding himself in a run for the presidency he can spend unlimited amounts of money on his campaign. And if every ad he runs attacks Trump and not the other Democrats running then he’s helping the eventual winner. More so than if he donated to them.

Completely clueless as to how Trump has upended the traditional GOP/Democrat paradigm of politics.
All of the "moderate" Republicans were Dems to begin with and only voted Republican to destroy the conservatives within the GOP. Meanwhile, Trump has the base locked up, he will also peel off a good percentage of blacks and other Dem groups such as blue-collar and Union workers.
Nobody is going to vote for a tyrannical billionaire who wants to tell you what you can eat, drink, and own for protection. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Bloomberg IS the DNC buying ads.
This proves what a moron the guy is. The country is in the best shape it has been in a generation and this little punk wants to spend untold millions to rid the country of the man who made it possible.
