Ooof! Politics aside, I really hope the government, or any representative of the government, or an LEO on behalf of any government does not approach a private residence with the intent of confiscating privately owned weapons because of a new state law.
Last time they tried that a national armed rebellion broke out and the government ended up on the losing end.
The long plan is to get you all riled up with talk about confiscations and then pass “sensible gun laws” that chip away at your 2A rights. Don’t be lulled by the tiny chip and think you have won. In reality ANY new gun control is a loss.

THE GREY ZONE
Just watched the riveting film “THE GREY ZONE” on ROKU (it’s probably on other services as well) based on the Jewish experience in 1944 Europe.
If you’re a conservative and know that history, you know that the Nazis were dedicated to their warped, antisemitic ideology and were “just following orders”.
If you ARE a conservative and/or lover of the Constitutional system WE inherited, the film contains a message for you. If you DO watch the film, imagine ANOTHER large group of human beings in the place of the Jews. If you’d like to see the face of a representative of that OTHER group, go look in a mirror.
If you don’t believe me, you apparently have not been listening to the words issuing from the mouths of the ideologically twisted radical leftist Democrats vying to rule over you from the White House and the Congress.
If what happened in Germany - the land that produced Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Schiller, etc - to the Jews and OTHERS who were “different” or failed to toe the Nazi Party line, don’t think for a moment that it CAN’T HAPPEN HERE!

And as for Bloomberg, he is a disingenuous POS. He is now spewing the same garbage that gun grabbers always spew: "Oh, we don't wanna seize your guns. We just want some nice, sensible gun laws." Yeah, like we don't want to kill babies, at least we'll make them comfortable before executing them in cold blood.
Bloomberg already said the guy in Texas who ended the church shooting shouldn’t have had a gun. The only words I would believe coming out of his or coonman’s mouth would be them saying they want power over us. Those two are why we have the 2nd Amendment. .
