The United States-led military coalition against Islamic State said on Monday that it was pulling out of Iraq and would be repositioning forces over the next few days and weeks, a letter seen by Reuters showed.
"Sir, in deference to the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq, and as requested by the Iraqi Parliament and the Prime Minister, CJTF-OIR will be repositioning forces over the course of the coming days and weeks to prepare for onward movement," read a letter from United States Marine Corps Brigadier General William H. Seely III, the commanding general of Task Force Iraq.
The authenticity of the letter, which was addressed to the Iraqi defence ministry's Combined Joint Operations Baghdad, was confirmed to Reuters independently by an Iraqi military source.

My bet is on FAKE.
Amazing, he wants to withdraw but the neocons go berserk, so he get Iraq to kick us out - perfect end.
AFP is reporting the letter’s legit, FWIW. If it is, no timetable has been given.
A non-binding resolution IS NOT a formal request for U. S. forces to leave Iraq, and in the end gives Salami the victory. This is exactly what he was fighting to achieve.
I do not agree with this decision at all.

This is only a withdrawal of the coalition against ISIS.
What about the US embassy? It is a big target when the Muslim mobs attack again.
And if Iraq does kick us out, they just lost the best reason not to lay waste to them if they export their **** our way.
Three guesses where.
That is a very strange letter. Something not right.
Thats why I am skeptical...
This is going to get the leader in Iraq to beg that we stay - it’s all a big game.
