Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) wrote a letter to her Democrat colleagues in the House on Sunday to reveal a new War Powers Resolution that amounts to a pre-emptive surrender to Iran in ongoing hostilities.
Pelosis letter begins with the declaration that President Donald Trumps airstrike last week targeting Iranian General Qasem Suleimani, leader of the terrorist Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IGRC) Quds Force, responsible for the murders of hundreds of Americans and for recent attacks on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, was provocative and disproportionate, terms suggesting the attack was illegal under international law and could constitute a war crime.

Would the Democrats actually be that batty to declare Trump's action a war crime via a vote?
Whose side are these people on, anyway?
The Tokyo Rose of the Dems.
Shovel meet dirt.
With the Rats, it’s all about politics.
They screech that killing an Iranian general, a legitimate military target, is against the law and a war crime, and they roundly condemn it. However, when a terrorist leader, who is a civilian, is killed in an attack aimed specifically at him, the Rats cheer that as not only warranted but a bold and laudable act. Of course, the difference between the two is that the latter was ordered by the recently beatified Saint Barack of the Choom, whereas the former was ordered by the hated and despised Donald Trump.
How terrifying is it that Nancy’s third in line to run the country?
Nancy would do well to read **Section 3 of Article Three** of our Constitution.
She is treading on some very thin ice.....
Forget the issue; it doesn’t matter.
It’s 24/7 get Trump. Every second, every minute, every hour, every day.
Every week, every fortnight, every month, and since 2015, every year.
All the democrats care about is power. Power over us. Power to rule, and to rule gives them power to create personal wealth, the public be damned.
Trump’s in the way of all their ambitions and dreams.
Traitorous harridan.
Can anyone imagine the Speaker of the House addressing Jimmy Doolittle’s raid on Tokyo in such a manner?
We have jumped off the cliff, and the landing is about 6” away.
We know the answer to that. Pelosi is what people leave on the street in her district.
Cant imagine this going over well with anyone besides far leftists.
Dear Morons
How did the President get the Iranians to attack the US Embassy in Baghdad?
The US performed a flawless direct proportional response to the people who planned, and organized, that internationally recognized act of war. A target which has direct documented links to the assassination of 700 US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan
That you infantile scum are trying to make him out as a victim indicates you are the same sort of scum as he was.
These people are on the side of America’s enemies.
It wasn’t long after 9/11 when the dim party and their media turned on G W Bush and sided with the Islamic terrorists.
They are on the side of all the forces that want to destroy our country, which is ironic in that if they succeed, they will live in a destroyed country. They think that the new rulers will allow these people to live their nice cushy lives.
The War Powers Act, also known as the War Powers Resolution of 1973, requires the following: the President, upon sending troops into military action, must notify Congress within 48 hours that he has done so. The Resolution also forbids military personnel from remaining in a state of conflict for more than 60 days (including an additional 30 days for withdrawal). After that, the President must seek an additional authorization from Congress or a formal declaration of war.
The Constitution has a couple of seemingly contradictory things to say about war. On the one hand, Congress, in Article I (right at the top), is given the power to not only declare war, but also the power to raise an army and navy, to fund war efforts and even to support militias (which aren’t around as much anymore). So, it would seem that the Congress is supposed to be calling the shots on war-related issues - except when they don’t.
The problem is that the President, in Article II, is named commander-in-chief of the armed forces and the militia. There’s a pretty good-sized gray area around what that means; just about everyone agrees that this means the President is chief decision-maker about how the military is used and that the President is the only person that can lead the armed forces into conflict. So, who, then, gets to make decisions about ‘when’ we go to war?
- So, the President was in compliance with the War Powers Act and while the Congress can raise an army and militia, the President remains the Commander in Chief of them...wish more leftists understood that...
How much money did the Dems get from Iran ?
Bump
when will you all realize that Iran and Soros directed
Pelosi, the blackhats at DOJ/FIB,
and the DNC to begin impeachment to
protect THEIR interests?
Seriously?
You need to ask just whose side these Commies are on?
Or were you just being sarcastic?
"While this President is taking terrorists out and making America safer. Theyre trying to take the President out. They will not put America first by far."
