It would be better optics to get some people under 100 in the front row. :)

I see them in the crowd.

Just saying..to reach the youths too.

Something similar to this is happening in New Jersey, but related to that state’s new mandatory child vaccination laws, which allow no religious exceptions and no exceptions whatsoever. Children who’s parents have refused to have them vaccinated face numerous “catch-up” injections.

This is all the result of the total Democrat government in NJ. Many of the most vociferous opponents of the new law are young moms, who have traditionally been very liberal in that state.

The issue cuts across racial, class, and ethnic boundaries.

Corey Booker declined to help these parents, and he received large campaign contribution from Big Pharma, which is very big indeed in New Jersey; they spend a huge amount of lobbying money in that state.

The Republicans in the NJ legislature have come down on the side of the parents, and a lot of young moms are looking at voting Republican for the first time in their lives. I know of one personally. She goes to meetings, has attended rallies in Trenton with her husband and children, and is no longer a liberal.

This has been going on largely under the radar.

Sigh, BTDT, Sacramento CA about thirty years ago, this tripe is nothing new.
Legislators literally HID OUT from constituents, in a non-public cafeteria.
In the end the AWB passed by ONE vote after an initial tie, but was reported as having passed OVERWHELMINGLY by the fake media that evening.

So expect that the seditionist behind this will have it all carefully orchestrated in advance.
Still do show up and make yourselves heard, just do not be surprised if you are avoided and ignored.
Governor recall* needs to succeed.
Failing that it’s going to be a long and expensive court fight, hope the courts there are honest.
And a lot of personal hardship for the victims of this who will be the named plaintiff’s, as getting “Standing” requires first being charged, hope none are killed or maimed.

*Whatever it’s called in VA.

I think Northram has woken the sleeping bear.

Thousands of people that have never voted or haven't voted in years will be turning out to vote in November.

His gun grabbing may cost the Democrats Virginia in the November election.

Showtime at the Virginia Beach City Council tomorrow night. Need to persuade just one more councilman to support the resolution.

What they really think - Fairfax County Public Hearing - 1/4/2020 (Youtube 1:12)

There was a hot microphone during the hearing. The politicians were brutally honest.

"These people are crazy", "Yea, they're like little kids. As long as we don't reply we'll get through this."

I believe this is just going to piss off the Rats and they will double down. They’re not taking any sh1t from the great unwashed you know.

I also suspect that passive resistance to these fascist law makers is going to be insufficient to impede their march to the disarming of the law abiding citizenry.

Socialist politicians don’t fear protests and rallies much. They do fear and complain about the NRA, because money talks, especially money that goes into campaigns.

A strategic fighter does not just run into battle sacrificing themselves. While this is always possible, it should be an absolute last resort.

First, know your opposition better than you know yourself.
Profile everyone of them. Who are the people against you? Create a chart diagram and learn all about them. Be strategic and turn their own system against them.

What is their family situation?
Divorces?
Affairs?
Lawsuits?
Bankruptcies?
Problem teenagers?
Neighbors?
IRS problems?
Criminal records?

What businesses do they own or where do they work?
Are they paying employees under the table? (including household employees?)
Who are their employees?
Who are their customers?
Who are their business associates?
What professional licenses do they hold subject to regulatory boards?
What social/business organizations do they belong to?

What real estate do they own?
What are the zoning violations?

Who are their extended family members and where do they live and work?

All battles are local and if you can put pressure on your opposition in their immediate locality it will have the greatest impact.

Do not turn to violence or public opinion and the law will turn against you. Stay peaceful and keep pointing fingers. Your opposition has many skeletons in their closet. Expose them.

Make the battle personal. Those who have the greatest assets and feel they are in power have the most to lose and will quickly turn when they are at risk personally.

I watched the Scientology organization (which I do not agree with in any way or support) take on the IRS and beat them in order to get tax free church status. They actually started employee whistle blower organizations within the IRS. They actively recruited the IRS employees to their religious services.

They identified the top IRS officials and all personal real estate they owned and started filing zoning violation complaints. They are an excellent case study in how to take on the bureaucracy.

No violence or you will lose.

I once observed a nasty politician fold when a 3 ft by 6 ft banner was hung in front of his church on Sunday morning exposing his misdeeds. Simple can be low cost, quick and effective.

If your opposition has greater problems than the cause you oppose them on, they will turn their focus away from you.

The NrA has been pretty quiet in Virginia actually. It mostly is an occupational licensing organization, not a rights organization.
