WSJ: ‘Demographic Shift’ Helping to Replace Trump’s Base of Support
Breitbart ^ | Jan 3, 2020 | John Binder

A rapid “demographic shift” is helping to replace President Donald Trump’s base of white working-class voters with Democrat supporters, the Wall Street Journal reports.

A report by the Wall Street Journal details how a “demographic shift” — with the help of more than 1.2 million legal immigrants being admitted to the United States every year — is changing the American electorate in favor of Democrats.

Trump’s white working-class base of support, the Journal notes, is expected to decline in population by about 2.3 percent in time for the 2020 presidential election. Still, about 23 million white non-college educated men did not vote in the 2016 presidential election — a pool of untapped support that the Trump campaign could draw on.

Demography is destiny. Do away with heritage Americans and you’ve done away with America.

May Ted Kennedy continue to burn in hell for the destruction he wrought upon the the republic.

If he was dictator, your post would suffice.

let’s not leave out all of the support he needed to get that done.

I see Trump getting reelected in 2020. The economy is doing well. Even minorities have benefited.

I wonder though.

FDR won four times. Kennedy won. Truman.

I watched the Kennedy/Nixon debate on youtube.

JFK sounded like a liberal.

I guess it was possible for left wingers to win with only heritage Americans.

And ironically, Cubans pushed us over the top in Florida a number of times while some groups of heritage Americans down there voted dem over and over and over.

It’s never so cut and dry.

Me too.

I think he will get a percentage of black vote not seen in a loong time.

He already got 18 percent of the black male vote last time compared to at BEST 10 percent before that.

I bet he gets 25 percent or more now.

Also, the number of white non college grad men who did NOT vote is staggering. That’s a huge group to tap into.

So is the WSJ rooting for this?

Rooting for it?

It is what it is.

A demographic shift was set in motion more than 50 years ago with the understanding that it would take a few generations to fully implement. It's here now. Even if we were to shut the borders down completely, nothing short of drastic, harsh measures (that Americans will never support) is going to change the direction of the shift. Why? Generally speaking, our newcomers are having babies. White Americans are not.

This is the most abused phrase on the planet.

“Demography” has nothing to do with “destiny.” It is all about ideology. Right now, blacks are shifting to Trump—too soon to see if this benefits “Republicans”-—in huge numbers.

Mike Sheppard on Twit has followed black approval of Trump for three years. It has slowly climbed from about 14% to 16% to 20% to 33% three weeks ago. He and I agree they won’t all VOTE Trump, but more than half will. We think Trump will get about 12-15% actual black vote . . . but hold on! In 2016 in three key states we could track-—FL, NC, and PA-—the black vote % was down by three percent. (This was very nearly the difference in FL-—about 110,000 voters).

We agree that after Trump takes 12-15%, an ADDITIONAL 3- perhaps 8% will stay home, disgusted with the DemoKKKrats. So in this key area, Trump is “replacing” suburban voters with blue-collar blacks.

Hispanics are the same story. FL GOP has outregistered Ds since 2016 by 85,000 and are closing in on parity with Ds in the state. This is huge, and a great number of these are Hispanics, including recent immigrants from Venezuela who now are like the Cuban immigrants of the 60s were: anti-socialist and pro-Trump. The #s for both Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis bear this out. Both got #s of blacks and hispanics way above “normal.”

Finally, even in the so-called millennials, there are cracks. Salena Zito showed that the divide was NOT college-educated vs. non-college-educated, but LOCATION. If you have a college degree outside a major city, you were likely to vote Trump. It was only in the urban areas where college-educated voted heavily for Cankles.

Ideology can completely overturn demographics, to the DemoKKKrats’ dismay. And they are losing this big.

Minorities are moving steadily to Trump.

Only Asians and black women are resisting.

Our forefathers warned us about the "have nots" outnumbering the "haves"....and the loss of our republic.

Read 55 men and the Constitution by Rodell. Best book I ever read.

“May Ted Kennedy continue to burn in hell for the destruction he wrought upon the the republic.”

Yes, along with the hundreds and hundreds of politicians who have contributed a helping hand in it for 55 years to make it secure.

And notice how quickly all the conservative commentators are lightning quick, after condemning illegal immigration, to affirm their support for the 1.2 million legal immigrants allowed in per year.

For every example you give of an immigrant population shifting the political dynamic to the right, I can give you 10 of the shift being to the left. Agree is not binary, but the evidence definitely shows immigrants mean left. There is no debate to be had here.

hispanics like machismo... trump has it in spades...

just an expression, not a reference to his support in the minority communities rising...

but it is, and those here legally will support trump over those just getting here.

WSJ is totally ignoring the growing support Trump has in Black and Latino communities.

Trump will get 20% of black vote.

BLEXIT is real.

Interesting stats. None of which will have any impact whatsoever in the rights ability to win a general election post 2020.

Free stuff is going to supersede any esoteric ideology created by a bunch of white guys 240+ years ago. I hope that I am wrong, but I doubt that I am.
