Atlanta congressman Rep. John Lewis announced Sunday he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Doctors informed Lewis his cancer is stage IV.

He’s been coasting on that for the last 50 years and ended being a Hypocrite.
For me, partisan politics stops at the hospital entrance. Any cancer at any stage is a difficult diagnosis that should be wished on no one. Almost everybody will be affected by cancer, if the lifespan is long enough. Mr. Lewis is going to fight, and he is wished well.
I see another post office naming in the works
79 years old and fighting pancreatic cancer but will not give up power. That says a lot.....none of it altruistic.
Yup these people milk us for all they got
He just might stick around long enough to cast his 2nd vote for impeachment if they do it all over again.
For my brother end end came in seven weeks. May God have mercy of his soul and look upon what good he did in his days at MLK’s side.
Re: 22
Best post of the thread. Thanks.
So, how long after the funeral will his wife move into his office?
That seems to be the thing since Bill and Hillary gave us “two for the price of one.”
That is terrible for him.
Isn’t that nice? PUKE!!
All that is very true.
I’m pretty sure the Governor Kemp (R) would get to name the replacement until the election.
Will a new Congressman be appointed to his place, or must there be an election for a placeholder?
Meanwhile, RGB soldiers on, still issuing decrees and thinly veiled threats to Deplorables.
He will be 80 in February. There should be mandatory retirement age for representatives, senators and federal judges. If 2 terms is good enough for president, that should be about enough for others as well. I think the military has a 30 year rule. Maybe that should be implemented across the federal government.
Dont agree with his politics but obviously a very horrific diagnosis. I wish him well
I was heavily chastised for praying for the healing of a well-known SCOTUS justice ... one who, in any evaluation, has committed great evil upon our people and lands. I stood corrected (mostly internally). I shall not repeat the same mistake here. May the Lord cleanse our land and people of all who would commit evil upon us.
Don’t forget McCain.
See #33
Im sure his wife will be the next congress critter.
