I was heavily chastised for praying for the healing of a well-known SCOTUS justice ... one who, in any evaluation, has committed great evil upon our people and lands. I stood corrected (mostly internally). I shall not repeat the same mistake here. May the Lord cleanse our land and people of all who would commit evil upon us.
They were wrong. You were right to pray for her. Im not sure why, I guess because it seems wrong not to pray for anyone facing pain.
It is always safe to pray that God’s Will Be Done. (It’s part of the Lord’s Prayer...)
Your first instinct was admirable, hopefully you will return to it in the future instead of allowing the groupthink here to influence your responses.
We pray for our enemies FRiend.
You were right in doing so.
