Atlanta congressman Rep. John Lewis announced Sunday he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Doctors informed Lewis his cancer is stage IV.
(Excerpt) Read more at wsbtv.com ...
“The median survival rate for stage 4 pancreatic cancer is between two and six months.”
I believe it’s the same thing Alex Trebek is dealing with. Also, I seem to recall Herman Cain being a survivor of Stage 4 colon and pancreatic cancer mentioned during one of the debates. It must have “versions”.
They were good buddies...
I was chastised for praying for the well-being of someone who has committed such atrocities and spews such evil under the color of law. In some ways she is right, but I know I must pray for someone who was/is suffering. To want that person to be able to commit even more against God is also wrong
“I have nothing but contempt for people who purposely hurt the United States”
Me, too. And I have nothing but contempt for those who support and vote for them.
I had forgotten about that.
Andrew Breitbart exposed his lies, if I remember correctly.
“...Still not retiring. These people cling to power...”
After they’re dead and buried, their hand pushes up thru the earth clutching for power. They’re blinded and insane by the quest and lust for power.
An awful disease which I wouldn’t wish on my worse enemy.
I don’t care for his race-baiting politics, but I pray that he uses what little (or longer) “remaining time of [his] life in peace and repentance”.
I hope he’s not in much pain. He’s been in Congress since 1987. He should have retired at least 20 years ago. He’ll probably die in office and cause the Georgia government to spend a lot of money on a special primary and special general election.
I am with you Laz. I am a merciless SOB.
“...That is something else, first Cummings and now Lewis. Makes you wonder about Trumps enemies and God....”
Naaa...the Grim Reaper just likes his “milk duds”.
Here’s hoping the Reaper picks up a few more: Lil’ Ruthie, Nadless, the Hut and their Dark Lord; the vile, demonic Botoxian all immediately come to mind. He’d be doing America a great favor. From my keyboard to the Reaper’s sickle.
Sorry to hear. All of us who were able to return from combat in Vietnam salute this fierce “civil rights warrior.” Bless your hearts to all of you Georgians who continue to vote he and his like-minded friends into life-time political positions...
Wow, they look like twins.
I'm thinking it, but won't say it.
He fought for what he believes his entire life. We differ on some opinions but I do wish him well.
+1
Prayers for him and his family.
We battle Pancreatic Cancer at the moment. My wife.
Detected it early, by God’s grace. But still the treatment is a butt kick and the statistical odds are grim.
It is a metabolic disease, digestive chaos.
He didn't believe in any real cause. His only motivation and belief system was around getting power, enriching himself, enriching his immediate family and then some close friends. He was as evil, or worse, than Elijah Cummings.

My feelings exactly. Pancreatic cancer has many forms. The quick deadly one is also the more common. Grim reaper, drag him down the quick and painful way, adenocarcinoma pulling and pushing on every nerve in that 6 to 8 inch organ.
How did buzzi last so long with hers, it must have been one of the others. Please god, RBG is next!
