A former Navy SEAL accused of war crimes by his colleagues denounced videos on Friday depicting their confessions painting him as “evil” and out of control.
The New York Times published video segments of Naval Criminal Investigative Service interviews with Special Operators 1st Class Craig Miller, Joshua Vriens, and Corey Scott on Friday, wherein they alleged Gallagher shot at civilians and killed an injured ISIS fighter. Gallagher and his lawyer, Tim Parlatore, told the Washington Examiner the videos have been taken out of context and are an attempt to relitigate Gallagher’s case in the court of public opinion.
“My first reaction to seeing the videos was surprise and disgust that they would make up blatant lies about me, but I quickly realized that they were scared that the truth would come out of how cowardly they acted on deployment,” Gallagher said in a statement. “I felt sorry for them that they thought it necessary to smear my name, but they never realized what the consequences of their lies would be.”
The interviews, recorded in 2018, led to the Navy charging Gallagher with war crimes. He was acquitted at trial in July of all but one of the charges, taking a picture with the corpse of a teenage ISIS fighter he was accused of murdering.
“As upset as I was, the videos also gave me confidence because I knew that their lies would never hold up under real questioning and the jury would see through it,” Gallagher said. “Their lies and NCIS’s refusal to ask hard questions or corroborate their stories strengthened my resolve to go to trial and clear my name.”

Glad he’s calling them out as the cowards they are - they had the abilities to make the team but not the guts to be a valid part of it - so they cut him down to hide their own shame.

Obama turned the military into a queer loving armed service, he issued no shoot on sight orders in his ROEs, and stacked the hierarchy with his boot licking Majors on up.
In my opinion, if PDJT wants to fix the military chain of command, he would fire all Majors on up and promote from the ranks.

Just as POTUS undergoes a daily fuselage of subversion around him in the WH, within the SEAL community the DS has managed to insert Ciaramella style saboteurs who actively lodge false accusations to sabotage, undermine, and destroy the Special Operation segment of the military community. The commies are bent on assaulting and taking out the best of the best who are a threat to their ‘progressivism.’

It’s the brass that’s the root of the problem. I think it may be a coordinated effort by the commies to insert saboteurs into the ranks and then have the upper liberal brass jump on the complaints of these miscreants and support any cockamamie made up accusation you can think of. There are non-performers who somehow manage to get into the ranks and when they can’t perform they reach for politically correct crutches like gender or race to save their asses. When you couple those complaints with liberal minded Obama brass who weaponize these complaints against the good guys you rip apart the institution from within, which is the commie objective. Just look at how the upper echelons in the SEALs and Navy bad mouthed and piled on Trump in the Gallagher case. And, look at that slime ball McRaven. Talk about hutzpah. Outrageous and unthinkable in my time.
I see the Navy JAG offs are still butt hurt from having their achievement medals rescinded. Wonder who leaked the tapes to the NYT?

Watching this video with the subject on the ground it looks like a blowout med kit on the ground right next to the dying Isis teen.
