House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a wide berth to delay her supposedly "urgent" impeachment articles for weeks or even months, knowing the press will back her. Exhibit A is CNN's Alisyn Camerota. The New Day co-host made an impassioned defense this morning of Pelosi's decision to stall the delivery to the Senate of the articles of impeachment.
After Camerota made her initial pitch for Pelosi's position, guest host John Avlon and Washington Post reporter Seung Min Kim pushed back, saying Pelosi's position wasn't tenable and that she'd have to deliver the articles in fairly short order.
But Camerota refused to concede, insisting, "I guess I'm missing something. I still need you guys to explain to me . . . What harm is there in waiting? I don't see what . . . I don't see why [Pelosi] would feel any anxiety to speed up this process?"

Sell-out Camerota would praise anything Pelosi does. If she had immediately delivered the articles of impeachment, Alisyn would surely have lauded that move, too!

Camerota is a political slut in the mold of Morning Joe. She’ll say whatever the person signing her check tells her to say.
That’s ok, it’s understandable, but it removes any hint of credibility.

This buys time for Schiff and Nadler to put together a second bag of flaming dog poop. Nancy sets up the second bag of dog poop at the back door of the Senate. Sooner or later, Nancy rings the front doorbell. Mitch stamps out the fire at the front door. Then Nancy rings the doorbell at the Senate's back door, forcing Mitch to track dog poop throughout the Senate. Mitch stamps out the second flaming bag of dog poop, getting his shoes even dirtier. (This seems to be the most accurate predicted plan for Impeachment.)
I have to agree with the boldface portion. A trial isn’t going to do her any good. Impeachment has blown upon her face, and the best she can do is leave it where it is, whine that the Republicans are being unfair, and hope swing voters forget about the whole thing by November.
At first I didn’t understand this strategy, but now it’s starting to make sense. She has painted herself into a corner, and this is the least bad option.
Keep stalling on this Senate trial until after the national Presidential nominating conventions, and have it front and center all through the campaign in August through October, which also interferes with the one-third of the Senate campaigns.
George Soros and his backers (nations and groups hostile to The United States) must be amazed at how cheap they can buy the whores at CNN.

Pelosi’s sheer vindictiveness towards Trump is glaringly obvious, to everyone. That is why she continues to alienate the fair-minded public. There is absolutely no sane reason to NOT send the articles to the Senate. She is simply making it worse for her party.
Camerota is just as dumb as she was before Fox let her go.
I believe there’s a direct correlation with serious cognitive developmental abnormalities and most all journalists. Mix a little anti-Americanism and you get what you get.
Who cares?
They could just dangle the “impeachment” over Trump’s head until the election. They could even have new “impeachment” hearings and add new articles throughout the year. They might call the weepy-eyed immigration “judge” who recently resigned because she disagrees with Trump’s policies. She would fit right in with that weepy-eyed ambassador. They may even be able to add “upset bureaucrats” to the articles.

Ms Camerota is like that girl you knew and dated for a while in the city. Kinda hot, but a little too weird.
Then you find out years later she went postal.
