Huge amounts of leftist $ have been pouring into the state for a while. In previous campaigns, it tended to support the green agenda.
Lately, some of it has gone to fund radical prosecutors( they are elected in each locality here), mostly in Northern Virginia.
State secession is not unconstitutional. So your example does not apply.
Might be a few butt kissing officers. But they are smart enough to know that your first confiscation mission would end in death.

Why are the events in Virginia and the farce of impeachment related?
When the Democrat mafia leans on 20 compromised GOP Senators, they know there will be an assault on DC by smelly American Walmart deplorables.
Leftists are going to disarm Virginia. And Virginia’s National Guard will presumably be waiting for deplorables to hit DC with plans to torch those that sold out America.
This is what Leftists do, it’s what they have done in dozens of other countries and they will do it in the US around the DC area where they will take control of the Army (legally how? See below.). The Army will put down insurrections by American deplorables. They will write history to say they saved the American ‘democracy’ from the hands of a dictator and his fascist followers.
Truth doesn’t matter to these people. Truth never mattered to communists.
Power is all that matters.
They don’t need to control Maryland because Maryland is a suburb of DC populated by people of the federal government. The federal government is Maryland’s first industry.
But Virginia still has red counties populated by deplorables that believe in the ridiculous outdated parchment called the Constitution. So it has to be disarmed and put down.
They will take out Pence in some manner and Nancy Pelosi will be installed as President and Commander in Chief.
They are doing this because otherwise all of their corruption will land them in jail. In their minds they have no other choice other than to overthrow the US Government and call it impeachment and salvation of democracy.
This is not new. It’s happened before this way in other countries. It’s just that Americans cannot believe that it would ever happen here.

If they go through with this insanity gov. Black face and any member of his administration should be told by these counties you are not welcome in our counties or towns. Our law enforcement will not protect you, you are on your own.
Richmond says they can withhold funding that’s true but these counties can not send in collected taxes and use them to operate and they can start cutting off resources to the blue counties, electrical, water, food etc... it could get nasty real quick. In a revolution the first shot is the hardest, after that the following rounds are easier.
I think this stupid-looking minor royalty of our aristocracy forgot where the authority lies in this country. He needs a refresher course.
There is most definitely a connection between the aim to disarm Virginia and its proximity to DC. Also, a large number of federal employees actually live in VA.
Another interesting fact is how many active and retired military live here.

Apparently not. An earlier post claimed he said living where you want is a basic right, not subject to any law, but gun ownership is not. I think I’ll move into his house.
If push comes to shove, every American must support the Americans in Virginia because where we one go, eventually we all go. I used the term “American” over the terms “Resident” or “Citizen” because all that live here are either residents or citizens, but not all are Americans. Americans are a special creature. They come in all colors, sizes, and shapes. Americans are difficult to define, but each one knows the other when they meet.
