A former teen model who alleges she was sexually assaulted by Harvey Weinstein filed a new lawsuit on Thursday against the disgraced movie mogul, his former studio and previous owner Walt Disney Co.
Kaja Sokola, a native of Poland who was previously identified only as Jane Doe in an earlier class-action lawsuit, alleged in a new lawsuit filed with the New York State Supreme Court that in 2002, when she was 16 and an aspiring actress, Mr. Weinstein promised to take her to lunch to discuss her career. Instead, the lawsuit says, he took her to his SoHo apartment where he "aggressively and threateningly demanded sex."

There are a bunch of actresses who have came from nowhere and suddenly show up in “W” film.
Now we all know how they got the part.
I assume that every actor/actress slept with somebody to get the role.

Weinstein got away with his porcine behavior for 40 years, from his start as a small-time concert promotor in Buffalo NY, because such things are extremely common in the entertainment industry - and everyone in the industry knows it. Weinstein was revealed as an extreme case, and everyone knew stories or rumors about him, but very few tried to do anything because the same rumors exist about many others too. In those disparate cases, Weinstein used his money and influence to quash them.
Also, how many women held their nose and accepted Weinstein’s advances? How many actually sought him out to help their careers?
So much for the feckless #MeToo movement
But why didn’t these women make this known at the time?
Because perhaps she wanted the role? Or is it the lure of money to be gotten now?
Kinda hard to feel sorry for her/them.

I don’t see how women (above the age of 18) can call any of this “sexual assault” they agreed to the terms and performed to the “contract” and the men provided gave them what was promised. Is it sleazy, sure, but is it illegal? Not one bit.

They would have been better off making a Godfather prequel than Godfather III. II had some flashbacks, but it really didn’t show the details as to how Vito rose to power.
