Weinstein was revealed as an extreme case, and everyone knew stories or rumors about him, but very few tried to do anything because the same rumors exist about many others too. In those disparate cases, Weinstein used his money and influence to quash them.
Also, how many women held their nose and accepted Weinstein’s advances? How many actually sought him out to help their careers?
