I’ll counter that it is the early onset of dementia. My father died of it; several years before that he began to exhibit the same aphasia that Pelosi. Eventually he lost the ability to speak and communicated with nods and smiles.
I think she is just tired from partying or staying up late.
Every public speaker can get lost. At her age, it is impressive that she keeps it together as well as she does.
What I do wonder, is how she is keeping the top chair in the majority party. That could very well be the result of either a very real or metaphorical deal with the devil.
If metaphorical, I wonder who “the devil” is in this case, and what the full details of the deal are.
Or better yet, like watching a female Faust make a deal with Satan....she made her deal a long time ago.

While listening to Rush today he played part of nutty nancy’s weekly press conference. I thought I heard her say something and I could not believe it so, fool that I am, I watched as much of the tape as I could stand to be sure I heard what I thought I did.
She got cornered with the questions starting at 11:40 about withholding the charges from the Senate and then babbled some crap the was unintelligible and about appointing “managers”. The questions about the circus continued and she got snippy refusing to talk about it (impeachment) any more. She would not even say the word. Instead she began to berate the press asking if they had any other questions. Aren’t they interested in other important things like “jobs for the people”, the free trade agreement with mesico, the fight against globalism. All that is at 13:26. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. She is trying to take credit for Trumps Agenda.

No doubt she has dementia and probably the onset of alzheimers. An old brain that began abbienormal. She is very lost and confused. Hard to believe that the house leadership and members will allow her to be speaker. I guess it is because she is naturally brazen, evil and can be easily directed / manipulated.
She is a dingbat but also just a hateful woman.
