This is amusing, even as America devolves into incivility. It's a terrible thing that Americans are polarizing into two antagonistic factions, but that is where we are now.
It was the Left that decided to refuse to accept the results of an election that didn't go its way and misbehave in ways ugly and confrontational. For more than three years since the election, grassroots protesters have harassed and tormented the president, his staff, and ordinary Trump-supporters, sometimes violently.
If there have been any political leaders on the left urging civility and restraint, their efforts have not been very prominent.
So it's time for "what comes around goes around."
Rep. Jerrold Nadler found himself pursued by catcalling protesters in the Capitol and attempted to escape into a members-only elevator.
Alas for him, he didn't seem to know how to push the right buttons to make the elevator door close, and instead found himself comically trapped. A Capitol Police officer attempted to help him, but the doors kept springing back open.
Nadler is far less obese than he used to be, thanks to gastric reduction surgery many years ago. Here is his appearance on 1998 during Bill Clinton's impeachment.
But it looks as though he is having trouble keeping his comparatively svelte figure, in addition to terrible posture.
If I had to guess, I'd say that the stress is getting to him.

Nadler has a long history of being jealous of Trump's success in New York. Nadler led "community opposition" to Trump's development in Manhattan.
That’s pretty tame. Nadler needs to be pushed until he strokes out.
Well, the pic I had was of a fat naked blob face down on the sidewalk. Probably because of the naked part.
The pic I remember had Nadler’s face clearly visible. At least that is the way I remember it.
Couldn’t see a face. Just a naked deflated flabby blob with the caption: “Nadler Naps.”

When the God fearing founders of this nation came up with the Republican vs democratic form of governmental representation. They considered that groups we call political partys once elected to a given political office. Could place their groups control and interest above the common good and benefit of the nation once elected to a legislative, executive or judicial office. Rather than work together for the common interest.
They truly believed that upon election. requiring taking the oath of office which swears loyalty to abide and support the constitution would take precedence and avert any fractious direction super ceding any political position taken by the group that the office holder associated with before entering .It took the democrat convention of 2012 when they attempted to remove any reference to God, “Our Creator,” to clearly demonstrate that belief no such a thing as sin longer exists and lying applies. So when one takes that oath it means nothing.

I’ve been listening to a bunch of podcasts on low carb, which of course means a lot of the docs are talking about the obesity & T2D epidemic. Several have said 2-3 years after gastric bypass, the weight starts coming back on. One of the docs is Dr. Rob Cywes, who is a bariatric surgeon. Nadler’s been a politician all of his career. Online says his net worth is under $200k. Frumpy wife. Never surrounded by beautiful women. He is so very man-jealous of Trump (just like George Conway).
Were that a Republican seeming to find operating the elevator on a par with solving differential equations, the media would be showing it non-stop just the way they mercilessly hammered George HW Bush over the supermarket scanner.
The leftists are lucky we’re not like them.
They wouldn’t be safe.
