House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday defended her decision to hold off on sending impeachment articles to the Senate, calling Mitch McConnell a "rogue leader" in an unusual press conference where she repeatedly tried to shut down questions about the impeachment process.
Pelosi spoke to reporters after Democrats passed two articles of impeachment against President Trump in a Wednesday evening vote. She indicated the House would eventually send the articles over to the upper chamber, but insisted it is up to the Senate to determine how the process develops going forward.
“The next thing for us will be when we see the process that is set forth in the Senate, then we’ll know the number of managers that we may have to go forward, and who we would choose,” Pelosi said Thursday.
After an impeachment in the House, the articles are normally sent over to the upper chamber for an impeachment trial, but Pelosi signaled earlier that the House is waiting for the Senate to set out how Trump's trial will be conducted before they determine next steps, such as designating impeachment managers who will represent them. This prompted outrage from Republicans who worried she would simply refuse to transmit the articles, thus denying Trump the chance at acquittal.
Pelosi made clear Thursday that she is not prepared to name those managers yet "because we don't know the arena we are in." As she did Wednesday, Pelosi insisted House Democrats want to see a "fair process"...

Calling Mitch a “rogue leader” is a sure fire way to get him to cave to her demands.
There’s something up wit the left- something very nefarious- Either she is colossally stupid- (Which i don’t think she is- politically that is), or they have something very sinister in mind- She has to know this is making her party look very blatantly openly corrupt in the public’s mind- They see the poll numbers sinking like a rock in support for liberals over this impeachment- She knows full well that what they left are doing- declaring war on the American voters, is going to hurt them bigly in the midterms- She knows full well this will hurt the left for decades to come UNLESS she has something planned that will convince the retreating constituents on the left that she ‘had no choice’ but to go forward- but my goodness- that is such a longshot strategy that i just can’t see her risking such a devastating blow to her party UNLESS she were confident she could pull whatever it is she is planning off- Yet she continues to APPEAR to throw all caution to the wind and go full steam ahead with this-
Why? The one possible thing I can think of is they are going to attempt a corrupt next election, not just for the presidency, but also for house and senate seats come mid terms-
She HAS to know how corrupt and unconstitutional her party appears to the voters right now- Especially after this last stunt of not sending it over to the senate- She isn’t stupid=- politically- but she odes serve her father, the Evil One- That much is almost positive given her support for all things evil- She knows full well that she doesn’t control what the senate does- Yet there she is standing in complete defiance of the senate- attempting to I should say-
She has to know that doing so just cements the fact that htis whole process was just an ugly biased stunt, and that hte American people won’t stand for it
Me too. The Dems think they are within reach of a Marxist totalitarian government backed up by the compromised surveillance and domestic security agencies that will assure their rule forever. They are capable of anything to crystalize their nightmare dream.

Doesn't it make more sense that these bizarre actions of most, if not all the democrats, are because THEY are corrupt, and have something to hide?
IF Red states pushed for IMMEDIATE Recall petitions against ALL democrats who voted for this ignorant vindictive impeachment- that would send a very powerful message to the left that they just destroyed their party for decades to come and would have the rest of them scrambling for cover-

The Speedy Trial Clause of the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution provides that “[i]n all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy trial”[1]
The Clause protects the defendant from delay between the presentation of the indictment or similar charging instrument and the beginning of trial.
Pelosi's quid pro quo?
Pelosi cannot stand the division of powers.
So how do we go about getting Nancy impeached for obstructing the Senate?
That and they are afraid they will lose their money tree.
