Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke with the BBC this week about the upcoming impeachment trial in the US Senate.
During her questioning Justice Ginsburg suggested that US Senators could be disqualified from the proceedings if they are not impartial.

This whole fiasco is about her. She is hanging on out of hate and the Dems are trying to get rid of Trump. Ruth could be tired of living like this, but who knows? I am sure but she’s is hanging on in part, for the “team”.

The House should not Impeach unless there is bi-partisan support. Even Pelosi has voiced that view and it is because of this very scenario where a partisan body impeaches a President as a political means of dealing with an opponent. We are seeing played out in front of us why everyone has warned that Impeachment must be a bi-partisan matter and that the articles must clear a high bar of probable offense.
Well, that disqualifies most of the Democrats.

This is at least the 3rd time Buzzy has opened her piehole when as a justice, she is supposed to keep her political views to herself.
The Supreme Court does not have a role in impeachment, save for the Chief Justice serving as figurehead over a trial.
